With 46" tires, based on internet dogma you are supposed to have 12.5" of link separation at the axle. The front certainly doesn't look like that much and the rear really doesn't either. It obviously lives and does the job so I was wondering how much separation you actually have front and rear and what size bolt you run through the Johnny joint?

What tire pressures are you running in the slower rock crawling terrain as I wasn't seeing much flex out of them ?
@RockstarGarage4 жыл бұрын
We typically run about 12 lbs in them
@charlesb42674 жыл бұрын
@@RockstarGarage Ok that makes sense why they were not flexing compared to lets say 40 inch tires ( on video's that is of Jeeps etc running 4 pounds and also with bead locks ) . That would be an interesting experiment to see what you're Jeep and those tires would do with very low pressures, for slowish driving on rocks and very loose sand.

All the rigs i have built. The question of when does it stop being a jeep has came up many times. I guess when the body comes off and you tube it to a rock buggie. Or when DMV tells me it's no longer a jeep. Take your pick. Remember. Beauty is in the eye of the creator.
