Grease The Musical - UK Tour - Marlowe Theatre - Matinee - Curtain Call - 14/09/24

Little bit different to the movie but I liked it. In my opinion it was way better than the movie. New songs, Amazing dancing and over all a great show. Got to see the main full cast aswell.
Got to see Marley Fenton again. Last time I saw him was in the Wizard of oz at the marlowe theatre playing tin man. He was so good playing Danny Zuko. Really good singer and dancer. I was so happy I got to see him perform again.
Sandy Dumbrowski was played by Hope Dawe. This is her professional debut and wow. If she carrys on the way she is, she's going to go far In her career. Amazing vocals, especially 'Hopelessly Devoted To You'
All the Burger Palace Boys (T-birds) were amazing. They all played there characters so so well. I usually have a favourite but honestly it's so hard to pick a favourite amongst this group of Amazing performers.
All the Pink Ladies were just as good as the boys. But unlike the boys I do have a favourite and that is Betty Rizzo who was played by Rebecca Stenhouse. In the movie I hate this character (sorry to thos who like her) but she made me really like Rizzo. He vocals were amazing, especially the song 'There are worse things I could do' and that's one of the songs I hate in the movie.
Joe Gash played Vince Fontaine and Teen angel and he was really good. A bit if a strange character. He just popped up now and then. But he was really good and sang 'Beauty School Dropout' so good.
Overall the whole cast was amazing. A very good show, from start to finish. So glad I got to see this show, I think if I didn't see it, I would have been a bit disappointed. So go book tickets if you haven't already, it's definitely a show worth seeing.
