I've been running onyx Jewellery but I was thinking for wars that I should run Moonstone + Slash protection perk, most of my damage comes from GA so having 3 pieces of Jewellery with 5%-6% slash protection per piece sounds huge

My unpopular opinion is that most of the lunge frustration is from lag. It's strong but the amount of times I feel like I rubberband back into an ice shower is really high too.

You could just tip someone to craft for you. I think having 200 refining is bigger than the crafting itself. Atleast on my server people will craft for you and get in discord to stream it to you. So for builds you don't have to be only using the 2nd for point defense. Like if you think you can play without charges mobility in OPR/open world that's fine. I personally just like having charge in open world. That being said I am about to try some OPR with Light armor Great axe with the 2nd build

I can see that honestly. I wanted to quickly go over both builds quickly because I had talked about them before and the Warhammer had the least amount of changes so I didn't know how much time to spend on those. Wasn't the easiest decision for me. But I will keep this in mind in future videos. Thank you for the insight

You can have vicious and enchanted at the same time. Someone on my server rolled a GA - Keen, Vicious, Enchanted and is selling 150k lol

I guess that's true. That's my b I know theres a few named drops that break that rule. I WAS under the impression you can't craft them since you can't even look up items with vicious and enchanted in the trading post and on NWDB they are both dmgcon perks

Good video but i have a question : i made a full heavy set with lot of physical resistance, i play warhammer with sword i feel so tanky but cant win duel against great axe?

Great Axe beats out sword and hammer in trades. Sword loses to the sustain that great axe has and Warhammer is in the same situation while being easier to dodge. Great axe still duels a lot of other melee just fine.

why do you prefer refreshing over refreshing evasion? think the evasion perk gives more cd reduction for this build

I prefer refreshing over refreshing evasion because to my knowledge it only reduces the cooldown of your active weapon. So it felt better to me with weapons like Warhammer where you don't sit in them very long.

When you made your armor pieces did you lock in a skill perk or resilient? Perks right? like insatiable gravity well for the dryad set? Looks like a 10% chance to roll resilient normally for the dryad pieces guess we gambling and rolling to get those two? Thanks!

For dryad I craft resilient pieces first I just let the rng happen. Since worst case it’s already con heavy resil. Anything after that is a bonus so it’s good if you plan on playing other builds. For example a 25 con resil heavy chest with a healer perk might not be what I want but it’s still a win

That being said. You might be onto something. Maybe I've been way more lucky with this crafting than I expected that and I do jump around builds a lot so it hasn't really failed me in anyway.

Actually kind of going down a rabbit hole with this one. If you were to craft pieces with Aversion instead of Resilient You'd be dropping 20% of your worst roll chances by denying the slot of Ancient Ward/Beast Ward since all 3 are DmgAbsorbs

GA is so clunky, it feels laggy asf. Lunge is short, you try to hit someone but suddenly you just swing through his body and he is just running forward, Reap is clunky as well, sometimes I feel like im moving laggy backward after swinging/using reap (maybe its just me but with bow/spear there is no issue) Now don't get me wrong, I'm not a GA player (bow + spear main here, medium armor with 150 con + perforate + fortified & resilient perks = every OPR 20 kills and 1m+ dmg) and it HAD to be nerfed but its just clunky. Lunge was always a problem only for bad players who can't position themselves or dodge. GA just had too much damage (especially AoE on points) and GRAVITY WELL. That's why GA was in every war -> because gravity well combo with hammer is just deadly asf. This will not change, they just made GA clunky but its still must have in every war and still 80% people run it with hammer

Idk where the comment went but I am playing 300 str 90% of the time now. Only time I push the heavy on the point 200 con first is on defense in wars.
