They're awesome, but they struggle against a lot of stuff, magic being the main one. A single decent caster will shut them down at best, or use it to mulch your own army at worst. And let's not overlook the Great Beast's biggest hard counter - rolling a 1 and a 2 for your first set of impact hits.

I love these 'Shire vs The World' batreps, pitching hobbits against the Big Bads of Middle Earth. It would be great to see them taking on a Balrog Moria army or Smaug and allies!

When an Infantry model reveals a DummyTrap, remove the Trap from play (there is no Trap there after all!), though the model will still stop moving. Cavalry and War Beast models are unaffected by a Dummy Trap, and can continue to move even after revealing the Trap

First of all, big fan of yoru videos! I only watch your battle reports because of how good quality they all are. As someone who has just started the game with the Battle of Osgiliath box set, could you make a video for new players like me on how they can make standard 500/600/700 point armies with the box and extra purchases?

Thanks for the comment, I could definetly put that together. For the time being I reckon to expand the Mordor side I would grab any of the two pack of heroes so either Gorbag and Shagrat, Zagdush and Goroth, or Guritz and Gothmogs enforcer or get the command pack which has a drummer, shaman, and banner which are all very helpful. After that you can either just add more orcs or get some cavalry with either warg riders or Morgul knights. For the Gondor side I would start by getting more warriors of Minas Tirith. After that I would add some cavalry and which ever hero is your favorite

Oooohhh myyyy goooooood :D that was really fun to watch but this time at the begining you both make so many important mistakes 😂 "battle cow" cant be stopped by the traps, its not infantry or even cavalry. Second, hobbit hero that throws stones (Baldo Tulpeny) should choose his target before roll. He also cant choose Witch King horse, because you can almost never choose to target mount. Of course you might want do it but for example: when you call heroic accuracy, then you cannot rerrol dices that hit rider to hit mount instead, but you can rerrol to hit rider instead mount. I know it can be little tricky but thats just rules. I think only exeptions are Legolas expert shoot and magic like black dart from Nazgul.

Please correct me if i'm wrong, but how can all nine great beast archers shoot one target if they can't all see the target ? Do the rules not apply for only being able to shoot two ranks of archers if you know what I mean.

The do need to split their shots based on their line of sight. in this case only 6 would be able to shoot at any single target.
