Hmmm not sure. All the apple stuff works pretty seamless. I do have a windows desktop just so I can stay in the know with technology.

There are Windows tablets out there, that would almost certainly do the job. Some of the "lesser-known" brands are very inexpensive, depending on features. My Android tablet has an HDMI port, but it's output only, I don't think it could be used as a monitor. Small monitors are pretty easy to find, I just searched up a 12" LCD monitor, it's only $109.98 on Amazon. It lists its power requirement as 12volts, 2 amps, which should be compatible with many tablet chargers that work in a vehicle. There are many other options out there too, I'm sure.
