I saw a video of a trailer house, claiming to be the smallest one in the world, with no toilet, and no shower inside. You had to do the shower outside, whatever the weathers like, and the toilet was a chemical sit down you had to do outside. This is not going to happen. If you’re not smart enough to incorporate a shower/toilet combo and these can get fairly small but still doable, then you shouldn’t even even be in the business. You’re an idiot. Absolutely.

I lived in Roy, UT for 5 years and did this hike a few times. One time, in a moment of insanity, I decided to hike to Hidden Valley and then bush wack down to Taylor canyon (the canyon you show at the end of the video). Not a smart move doing this solo but I survived. I miss living in Utah.

Anyone knows how to disassembe this power station? A "quiet" fans can turn onto not-so-quiet someday - it happened to me, unfortunatelly... One strange thing I saw using the device day-to-day is when under heavy load its UPS-relay may eventually stick and short the output to input - yeah, it is "sick", but it shows an "overload" error on the screen then and requires a full restart after the "incident". Luckily it doesn't burn out anything inside and outside! So, be careful and remember you might have a AC voltage on the input socket even if you do not require it to be there.

I bought a 2008 Matrix in bullet grey. It's one of those stories U hear about when a person scores on a buy from an estate sale. The old man of 92 yrs bought this brand new back in 08 and its now 2023. He only drove it to the store and back and kept in the garage. For 2008, it only had 29,000 miles on it! Even the tires were still new, but I bought new ones, though. I discovered that the passenger seat folds completely down through KZbin!! Yay...I am an Rv girl and I sold my 150 truck, cuz I was gonna pull a trailor. After the sale of my truck, I found this on Facebook Market. I scored, and now I am gonna try car camping in Quartzsite to go crystal hunting. Keep your videos coming on camping life.

It looks like I watched this a year ago! I’m watching again! 😅 I took my 3rd gen Prius boondocking, and the ac never shuts off, even if I put in a set point and use auto mode. Almost froze! Same for heat. If I have a higher set point than the outside temp, the ac still stays on in auto mode, doesn’t switch to heat. Do I need a new cabin sensor? Or should the external sensor near the radiator be moved? Who would be able to troubleshoot this? A radiator shop?
@ChasinSimplicity Жыл бұрын
That is very strange. Maybe someone that works on Prius cars specifically would be a good place to start. I camped in 20 degree weather and 80 overnight high humidity in Florida and both times there would be a cycle , it wasn’t running all the time. Of course, the more extreme the temp the more often it would fire up. I hope you get it fixed!

The auxiliary battery runs at 14 volts. My inverter detects too high a voltage and shuts off, preventing me from running my 1100 watt vacuum cleaner. How did you get the voltage down to 12?
@ChasinSimplicity Жыл бұрын
I did not do anything special I just ran it. Maybe my alternator did not produce that many volts for some reason.

Inflatable backseat mattress. I camp in my prius. Longest trip was 3 months. I tried many arrangements before i found a backseat inflatable mattress. Covers backseat and footwells. I am 5'8" and i put the front passenger seat forward and folded down and put a pillow on that so i can stretch out completely. Excellent. Leaves entire trunk free for junk and you can forgo inflatable footwell pillar supports and use storage totes. Tip. Dont inflate mattress till hard. Its not a paddleboard. Inflate to your comfort level.

I highly recommend screwing the inverter down into the plastic tray. I made the mistake of not doing so and the terminals loosened from it sliding all around, causing a poor connection on the negative terminal and melting the plastic a bit.
