This is such a crock. There are no "price drops" in Tampa. The median sales price of $422K is up 4.3% year over year. If I list that median home for $600K and then have to "drop" the price to sell it because the market price is actually $422K that's not a price drop. The $650K was never a legitimate asking price to begin with. In reality the price of that median house is UP $17k over last what it would have sold for a year ago.
