To even receive a GEC seems insurmountable. After that, to EDC it would be both cringe worthy and fabulously extravagant. It seems like a safe queen for a talisman of yesteryear quality.

Great knife Logan. If you are lucky enough to score one of these you won't be disapointed. Of course there are many more disapointed knife guys than lucky ones so there is that.

To me this is a proper sized Barlow for every day use with a 440c stainless steel blade.

I was looking forward to your review of this release Logan, and it didn't disappoint! Hope I can land one of these in the OD Green Micarta - that gorgeous Blade Forums version isn't an option for me unfortunately.

I was fortunate to land a Rust orange 2AB and absolutely love it but I was unable to land a green micarta that I really wanted badly nor was I able to get a Spring Street because I didn't know about the bladeforums inside knife deal, which I wish I would have known about ;(

I got the bone 2ab from KnivesShipFree. I’m signed up for their gec emails and just go as soon as I get the email. The BladeForums was from GunstockJack

I don't think people discuss where they get GEC. Seems verboten. Adds to the scarcity mindset. It's incredibly difficult with how business is done in modern times to find any item or service of value for money and those who are fortunate don't usually go far enough to bring others there too.

I buy mine primary from Knives Ship Free using their notification emails. Secondarily from Blue Creek Cutlery by reserving, or from Traditional Pocket Knives drops. Sometimes on drops from other dealers. Believe me, I understand the frustration.

@@KnifeThoughts we both know these are hard to get. I prefer if more can get them than not, so I made my plan and stuck with it. I do view the BF knife as an exception to the run, so don’t think I’m speaking negative of you getting that and a “normal” run variant
