The placard spells tough and tuf. I guess spellcheck gets even the best of us. Nice vid. Thanks.

I wish they would have this a BTF board =o(.

Yeah it sounds like ASUS doesn't really have plans yet for a BTF Z890 motherboard...

Hi bro, any recommendation for the smallest chassis that can accommodate a full size ATX Mobo and a Graphic Card?
@ALKtech3 ай бұрын
Hey there, it really depends on what kinda graphics card you have and your budget too. Do you have a big GPU such as a 4080 or a 4090?

@@ALKtech waiting for 5000 series GPU, I guess can buy smaller size GPU to fit the chassis. Just wanted a suggestion for smallest chassis possible. Any suggestions?

@@jackyloong1093 mmm. Some models do come to mind - I quite like Fractal's Meshify 2 Compact for it's aesthetics, or if you're a fan of the design language of Lian Li's O11 series, the O11 Dynamic Mini could be something to look at too!

im going to build my 1st PC, can i ask what RAM is compatible with that MOBO, if im going to put a 128gb(4x32)ram? TIA

Hey there! You might want to refer to ASUS's Qualified Vendor List (QVL) for memory to be safe: www.asus.com/motherboards-components/motherboards/tuf-gaming/tuf-gaming-z890-pro-wifi/helpdesk_qvl_memory?model2Name=TUF-GAMING-Z890-PRO-WIFI From experience, running four sticks of DDR5 at high speeds can be a bit of a hit-or-miss - there are plenty of reports out there of folks who struggle to even start their PCs with four sticks of high-speed DDR5 RAM, unless you're okay with dropping down the memory speeds to something like 5200MT/s.

Not worth to buy it, it is only suitable for one generation CPU: arrow lake
@ALKtech3 ай бұрын
Unless we get another 14th Gen kinda situation where everyone expected 13th Gen to be the final product line-up on LGA1700 and we got 14th Gen instead. For all you know Intel might launch an Arrow Lake Refresh!
@Majeskty3 ай бұрын
It is all about what future CPU’s will use LGA 1851 socket. The 15th generation is just the first of what could be several generations, just don’t know as yet. However, LGA 1700 was used with several generations with BIOS updates.
@ALKtech3 ай бұрын
@@Majeskty yup. And I'm making a very wild unfounded guess here - seeing as this board comes with BIOS FlashBack that allows you to update the board's BIOS without a CPU/RAM/graphics card, perhaps board manufacturers are also preparing for the scenario that Intel releases a new gen of processors on LGA1851...
@hhhh-lj5gr2 ай бұрын
@@Majeskty Nope, its the second one, Meteor Lake is also LGA 1851 ;) so we mybe never see a third gen on LGA 1851 ;)

Wouldn't touch ASUS with 2m pole. After 13th and 14th gen and their attack to servers with their W680 boards directed by Chinese government almost brought the Internet down and now it is very slow as 100% CPU's failed on W680 boards from ASUS. You should not buy ASUS because you are risking your system. China has almost 100% monopoly on motherboards. MSI would be lot safer option as it is partly Taiwanese and we didn't see problems on MSI boards for the 13th and 14th gen CPU's.
