Don't underestimate the utility of these guys' full sets. The Attack boost from Great Jaggi full set and the Razor Sharp ability on Great Wroggi's are incredibly useful. Plus, Wroggi's makes you look like a cowboy!

Yo, G-rank G. Baggi ain't no fucking joke. Me and some of my friends were doing a quest to hunt two Stygian Zinogre's, and a G. Baggi was the random monster. We decided to take him on, since we were all in pretty much high-end g-rank gear, and our weapons were pretty much maxed out. Try to make a quick extra buck. This guy then proceeds to kick our shit on and almost made us failed the quest.

Imagine he comes back to Double Cross with this theme, as a late game quest. Veterans are confident, and beginners have probably heard about him from the veterans how weak he was. The quest starts, hunters travel through the map, but something seems different. Instead of the normal sky and lighting of that map, it's dark and cloudy. With the veterans assuming that a hidden monster is somewhere, maybe a Gore that starts with it's horns, they push on. When they finally find it, it prepares to do the normal roar, but when it does roar, every breakable obstacle in the area crumbles. The veterans are confused and beginners are scared, and all are send straight back to the hunter's hub as a new message pops up, displaying "DANGER". Turns out, GJ got a little tired of getting killed in five seconds and got promoted to Elder Dragon.

My roommate ran a Monster Hunter D&D campaign, and it was on an island full of wild variant monsters, and the biggest ones in our section were called the Grand Jaggi, which were Indominus Rex-sized Great Jaggi that all ate part of a god to get there. It was glorious to see my favorite starter monster made into an absolute beast like that.

Ok. This is my first time ever playing a MH game. And when I got to the G Jaggi hunt in the offline mode I was really scared. He started beating my noobish ass! My armor was a Hunter set, and my weapon a Bone Kris... But I still beat him. From his loot, I got a much better weapon, and I fought him again... And whooped his sorry ass... Then I just farmed it to get the Jaggi armor set haha

Great Jaggi has the coolest gimmick (ie that of directly commanding the pack, moreso than the other raptor Bird Wyverns) of the three and I'm kinda sad it wasn't in Rise. Imo they could have had him instead of Great Wroggi, since we already have another poison Bird Wyvern in that game: Pukei Pukei. Great Jaggi also has the coolest sounding call when it controls the pack. Kinda makes me think of a howler monkey?

Low and high rank: no threat. G-rank G. Baggi: the biggest threat I have ever seen in 3u. This is a true story: So I was grinding out some Stygian Zinogre parts with two of my hunting pals, and we took on a quest that had us hunt two of them in the Artic Tundra, or whatever it was called in 3U. We get one down, and while we are waiting, a great baggi shows up. Since we are in high-end end-game gear, and equal in weapons, we decided to hunt him for a quick extra buck. This thing...this mother fucker, then proceeds to kick our shit in and almost ends the quest in failure for the next *fifteen minutes.* This thing had more hp than both the S. Zinnys combined, hit as hard as they did, and griefed us for a longer duration than it took to hunt both the zinogres combined. I don't care who you are or what you say, that was one of the scariest hunts I've ever done in 3U, and that includes Descent into Hades and Clashing Fists quests!

Did a high rank quest of Great Jaggi in 4U. I was using Azure Rathalos light bow gun and just kept Craig shooting his head stunning him constantly and beat him within 2 minutes of the battle starting. I just farmed him to get certain parts for armor slot skills
