@John Milton 🤔 ‘who likes you’? 🤣you mean whom YOU love? ‘Like’ is not the same. We ‘love’ our children enough to correct them, because we unconditionally love them. Well, healthy parents do.

@SJGreene I wonder how many truly get this one 💜✝️This love is a very strong yet subtle soft and gentle love. The love of Jesus. We learn loving God, we get the same love before we even acknowledge it. That’s why people who love Jesus, we find that we love even those who hurt us and we move on; it’s on them. It’s a love and freedom that no one can show you. Only experience for one’s self and choice. Thus getting rid of an ‘enemy.’

" Leo Tolstoy’s Resurrection. For his whole life, Leo Tolstoy was concerned, immensely concerned with Jesus; hence the title, Resurrection. And Leo Tolstoy has really created a tremendous work of art. It has been a bible to me. I can still see myself when I was young continuously carrying Tolstoy’s Resurrection with me. Even my father became worried. “It is okay to read a book,” he said to me one day, “but why do you go on carrying this book the whole day? You have read it.”I said, “Yes, I have read it, not only once but many times. But I am going to carry it with me.”My whole village knew about it, that I was continuously carrying a certain book called Resurrection. They all thought I was mad - and a madman can do anything. But why was I carrying Resurrection the whole day? - and not only during the day, but during the night too. The book was with me by my bed. I loved it… the way Leo Tolstoy reflects the whole message of Jesus. He succeeds far more than any of the apostles except Thomas - and about that I am going to talk just after Resurrection.The four gospels particularly included in the Bible miss the whole spirit of Jesus. Resurrection is far better. Tolstoy really loved Jesus and love is magic, particularly because when you love someone time disappears. Tolstoy loved Jesus so much that they become contemporaries. The gap is big, two thousand years, but it disappears between Tolstoy and Jesus. It rarely happens, very very rarely, that’s why I used to carry that book in my hand. I no longer carry that book in my hand, but in my heart it is still there. Another book by Leo Tolstoy. One of the greatest in all the languages of the world, War and Peace. Not only the greatest but also the most voluminous… thousands of pages. I don’t know that anybody reads such books except myself. They are so big, so vast, they make you afraid. But Tolstoy’s book has to be vast, it is not his fault. War and Peace is the whole history of human consciousness - the whole history; it cannot be written on a few pages. Yes, it is difficult to read thousands of pages, but if one can, one will be transported to another world. One will know the taste of something classic. Yes, it is a classic. Leo Tolstoy's ANNA KARENINA, a small but immensely beautiful novel. You must wonder why I should include a novel in my list. Just because I am crazy! I like all kinds of things. ANNA KARENINA is one of my most loved books. How many times I have read it I can't remember. I mean the number of times - I remember the book perfectly well, I can relate the whole book.If I was drowning in the ocean and had to choose just one novel out of all the millions of novels in the world, I would choose ANNA KARENINA. It would be beautiful to be with that beautiful book. It has to be read and read again; only then you can feel it, smell it, and taste the flavor. It is no ordinary book.Leo Tolstoy failed as a saint, just as Mahatma Gandhi failed as a saint, but Leo Tolstoy was a great novelist. Mahatma Gandhi succeeded as - and will remain forever - a pinnacle of sincerity. I don't know of any other man in this century who was so sincere. When he wrote to people 'sincerely yours' he was really sincere. When you write 'sincerely yours', you know, and everybody else knows, and the person to whom you are writing also knows, that it is all bullshit. It is very difficult, almost impossible, to really be 'sincerely yours'. That's what makes a person religious - sincerity.Leo Tolstoy wanted to be religious but could not be. He tried hard. I feel great sympathy with his effort, but he was not a religious person. He has to wait at least a few more lives. In a way it is good that he was not a religious man... otherwise we would have missed RESURRECTION, WAR AND PEACE, ANNA KARENINA, and dozens more beautiful, immensely beautiful books."

*Sorry* for even saying this. But I love these inspirational quote videos, I watch them all the time, but there is one annoyance I get with them. Often these quotes relate to something I've already thought about, in most cases, I've pondered and looked further into the realizations to confirm the idea and it's external factors/tangents. I think many people who are intellectual or intelligent will naturally come around to the same conclusion, based off a comparison of their own knowledge and experiences. I'm sorry if this makes me sound like a narcissist. My main annoyance is that past people with vast mindsets or philosophers, will create some sort of quote for anything insightful that their mind comes across. It'll make them sound outer worldy, when in reality, most people arise at similar conclusions, they just don't end up making quotes about what they found out. None the less, these people(s) were definitely gifted in their areas of thinking, and I don't disagree with their quotes. I just find, personally, there can be much more "multi-dimensional" beings, who've arrived at places within the far further of worldly knowledge, whom don't come up with famous quotes for whatever thoughts/insights that arise.

One can know but not understand. Once one understands, it doesn't take a whole resume to explain simple ideas. It's in our hands to over-complicate our reality and simplify it in specific words to seal the thoughts. It takes just one step to write down your ideas and stop rummiating, yet we don't do it and get stuck instead of moving on. I believe at an elderly age you notice the lack of time in your hands and start doing things right.
@ADOSMOORINOS
@ADOSMOORINOS 2 жыл бұрын
@@rooscoe1061 Very true about all that. I spoke too soon since understanding something does mean you've grasped it or the concept of it, and no longer need to expand outwards. I never heard someone say it in that way where you over complicate it and then seal what you discovered with a well worded quote, but yeah that makes more sense now, kind of makes me want to make a quote. I thought I came up with one once where I was thinking ---> If you don't understand how evil works, you can't contain evil ---> I was trying to get at the certain peoples who think they can suppress evils energy with simple sentences or by pretending evil doesn't exist. I was thinking this just when I was battling certain demons of mine, to my own belief, and I'm not even sure if contain is the right word to use. I agree that you'll usually get over the constant pondering etc inside your own mind whenever you write it down, and for me, doing youtube comments has let me get lots off my chest. I'm pretty well stuck in all aspects of life lol, just trying to think deep about everything. I agree too that at old age you'll accept death, and therefor live more free and open minded I'm assuming, as most of lifes old troubles and lessons are in the past, and you're basically living in peace and reflection, that is, if you don't have a rough illness. I personally hope to get on that old guy wisdom at a younger age, so I can relax and be at peace while I make my climb.

They don't hate you/ It's the ego that hates you/ The sin in them makes them hate you/ Evidently, they are dead inside, dead in sin, hence, they hate what is holy and love what is unholy, hate the light and love the darkness/

Simple people are boring not strong. Confronting the complexities of life gives you strength and clarity, clarity holds wisdom, and wisdom is expansion not reduction.

May have missed it😆 unfortunately that’s not the kind of ‘simple’ he is referring to. But #research and you’ll be pleasantly enlightened. Best regards.

@LightShift it’s interesting I just saw a video of Dr Jordan Peterson from a class posted about 2 years ago, in which he says people come to therapists not for psychological ‘problems’ but solving the complexities of life. Lol 😆 isn’t that something. And this is NOT clarity. So .. I think your idea needs re-evaluating -breaking it apart may give a better understanding. Complexities of life do (NOT) give strength and clarity. Dr JP I think says for ex: suicidal people do not find a solution for the‘complexities of life.’ If I find the link I’ll try coming back to post it.

Sinful pride, egotism in you misjudges/ The principle of simplicity is beyond your understanding/ Complexities are handicaps and obstacles impeding our evolution/ The ruse of the ruling powers of this world is to reinforce dogmatic beliefs of reptilian corporate entities so that they succeed in perpetuating the oligarchical world order/ Mental inertia of the greedy idolaters is dreadfully nauseating and creates unbearably stressful socioeconomic realities for wise souls who choose not to conform to the unholy ways of the world/
