Its more of a temporary thing, telling yourself that you are appriciated isn't fulfilling. reaching conclusions with no one noticing makes me feel lonely. i tend to appriciate others words even if i led the conversation to these as a trap, a trap that captures my insecurities. If you truly want to learn to live by these quotes then you need to dig deeper than this if you haven't already. You can read an entire book about a concept that can essentially be broken down into 1 sentence. But merely reading the sentence will never give you as true of an understanding behind it as the book will.
