It's easy to say "respect yourself," but when you are not valued by ur mother and father really is unavailable. You never really learn that on your own.. I do respect myself and I do deserve respect. I am a stable, honest, genuine, authentic woman who doesn't Judge. I never did judge anyone else. Or correct them. I feel you need to pick the log out of your own eye before you worry about the stick in someone else's eye. However, I have been in an unexpected situation. Where my partner was drugging me and having sex and partying with other much younger girls. And exposed me to them and others. Plus, there were other very bad mind games.. total disrespect and devalued. But he has done that to someone else too. To say you " don't respect someone" it's always because they have done bad, unscrupulous things. .because inused to have substance abuse issues That I have recovered from a very long time ago. I changed because I had severe consequences. I got a great job after. And was free of drugs. Didn't drink too much..I didn't have too Especially I had Daniel. There's no way I'm going to be punished and then go right back to it..

You should always live in the present moment because that's the only moment that truly exists (the past is a collection of memories and memoirs and the future is at best a collection of imagined hypothetical situations that might or might not happen), none the less the present is the moment where you take action, and the one where you make plans for the future.

@Justin Jesse That has to be the most brain-dead, GOP/American thing I've ever read on YT. "Fight for the things you don't want"...is from the diary of an insane character. Now I know why the US has been in over 200 wars/skirmishes in it's short 246yr existence.

Its more of a temporary thing, telling yourself that you are appriciated isn't fulfilling. reaching conclusions with no one noticing makes me feel lonely. i tend to appriciate others words even if i led the conversation to these as a trap, a trap that captures my insecurities. Or Maybe i just like to put a show for people that i have hard time with something i already learned to control, just so i could make them help me reach a conclusion i already mastered, with my conscience impersonating a perfect manifestation of someone i know, because that isn't real enough for me, pretending to be stupid so i could turn my dreams into the truth

"Wisdom thoroughly learned will never be forgotten" That applies to this video too. I don't want to sound negative, but watching this video and thinking that it will be enough to become wise is silly. If you truly want to learn to live by these quotes then you need to dig deeper than this if you haven't already. You can read an entire book about a concept that can essentially be broken down into 1 sentence. But merely reading the sentence will never give you as true of an understanding behind it as the book will.

Half of these quotes make me roll my eyes bc it’s like “I’m 14 and this is deep” or common sense that a lot of people lack. So much so that they have to hear it in a quote before acknowledging it on their own in their own way.
