How much says they import the workforce, and only hire a few locals?

More Californians will move there

Which is what nobody wants. I hate how many of them already live here.

@@paigemya And Californians hate they have been paying for the rest the the USA's social programs and infrastructure. Their innovation and advanced technology paid for a lot of it. Why don't all Utahns pay back all their federal child tax credits, monies allotted to Utah State for child tuition and subsidized health care, your interstates, sewer, power and hydro dams you didn't actually pay for in the last 50 years. Utahns didn't pay nearly enough taxes for everything they got. Utahns taxes are way to low for what they use. It's called entitlement princess

Awesome! Taking more of our water then telling residents to stop.using water. Then, the air pollution will go up.and we'll be told we need to stop driving and use public transportation....

We need to reduce our birthrate. The rising cost of goods in Utah is brought on by two factors. The rapid influx of residents coming here, and our tendency to have lots of kids. Both of these things serve to make demand for essential goods like housing and food skyhigh, resulting in skyhigh prices as per the laws of supply and demand. The one upside to rising costs is people, particularly young people like myself, are going to never have kids. This will send out birthrates tumbling across the nation, fingers crossed.
