What you and all mormons need to learn is what the truth and Christianity of the Bible actually is. Mormonism has nothing whatsoever to do with the Jesus, nor the Christianity of the Bible.
@michaelcrowley9008 Жыл бұрын
@@exposingfakechristianity5556only response that I can give that means anything; is instead of leaning upon other's experiences such as the witnesses of the Bible, seek out those experiences with God for yourself. Because, just think about it: where did these records in the Bible come from? They come from God to people who actually experienced it. The people of the Bible are real people. They had real experiences. And God wants you to both know that they did have them, & He wants us to act in Faith that we too may experience the same results. So in summary, the scriptures are a template. An equation. If this happens then this is the result. God invites us to participate in the equations He provided. I'll borrow a statement paraphrased from this video: love to learn, by discovery. When God is the one teaching you, discovery is on a whole new level. So; As Mathew 7 says: Ask God. Seek God. Knock unto God. And as James 1 says: ask your questions and with God, you will find them in Him. (In His Due Time.) Good luck. I can honestly say this, and do so in love. I've experimented on the Bible and based my finding on both the scriptures and the witness from God. I hope you and everyone does the same. No matter the result of an honest trial of this course action, will eventually lead us all to Christ. And from Christ to The Father. Edit; FYI, I realize I didn't make it clear in this commentary: I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints. I use the same course of faithful action upon all scripture: The Book of Mormon Another Testament of Jesus Christ, The Holy Bible, The pearl of Great Price, and The Doctrine and Covenants. & Speakers of God throughout all time, callings, authority that God puts forth, all Doctrine, etc. Sometimes my understanding taken to God gets denied or forgotten. Other times it gets verified or reinforced. This can be experienced via The Holy Spirit of Truth, the Love and Mercy of Jesus Christ, & the Love and Power and Justice of The Father.

When you don’t know what to do, can you ask the questions, can you dig and research and come to know what you need to do? That’s what education is.” 14:54 Ryan Smith, “I don’t know what I’m doing. I don’t know what the goal is right now.” Elder Bednar, “Which is the goal of education. @29:20 What he doesnt say here is that most of the criticism the LDS church receives is due to the fact that few organizations (least of all manmade churches) can replicate the wisdom and prudence of the LDS church. That number will continue to diminish at scale.
@nicholasread5397 Жыл бұрын
Imagine that! Organizations that fail to provide answers to the world's most pressing problems will fail to attract the rising generation. The ageing population that comprises their dwindling membership, still following the traditions of their fathers, will eventually die off, and with them so will the organizations to which they belong. And so, one by one, they will all fail and great (numerous) will be the fall thereof. Meanwhile, the Lord's Church will go forth boldly, nobly and independent, solving the issues that matter, lifting people out of poverty through education, and being a gathering place for all those who seek truth and can no longer find it anywhere else. In the past five years the number of temples has doubled. That's not to reward the saints who already are. It's to prepare for the coming period of growth being the greatest the Church has ever seen. In the end, there will only be two: the church of Christ and the church of the devil in all its guises. The polarisation of both is already becoming more apparent, as are the true intentions and loyalties of any who raise their voice to comment on the Church: they either help the Lord's work, or they rail against it.
