WHILE millions of film fans dream of owning Bond’s Aston Martin or Bruce Wayne’s Batmobile, Ollie Wilkey has turned his movie car fantasy into a reality. The self-employed inventory clerk, 25, from Keynsham in Somerset, is the proud owner of a DeLorean Time Machine - the iconic vehicle made famous in the Back to the Future series. The car was built in Florida by an ex-NASA engineer and Universal Studios constructor, and later bought by his friend Luke, from Leeds, UK, who sold it to Ollie in February 2014 for a five-figure sum. Although sadly not capable of traveling back to 1955, the “screen accurate” DeLorean features everything from a flux capacitor to a Mr Fusion Home Energy Reactor. And when the souped-up vehicle reaches 88mph, it activates a special time travel sequence, including lights and sound effects. Ollie runs a business renting the car out, but still finds time to take the DeLorean for a spin - and the car never fails to attract hordes of appreciative onlookers.

I was the writer of the BTTF movies. In the city where I was born (Logan Utah) you find places with similar names to the movie places. In Logan Utah: LMC, Bluebird Restaurant, Clock Tower Plaza and Twin Pines Condos LMC and DMC were both owned by John Delorean. In the movie: DMC, Bluebird Motel, Clock Tower and Twin Pines Mall Hilldale is also in Utah, along with A dozen other things that link me to those movies. I've retired from the screenplay writing.

Besides if it ever would be possible, somebody would've gotten a visit from someone from the far future by now, but no one ever has. However, time travel into the future may be possible someday if becoming cyrogenically frozen can ever become a reality. But scientists would have to figure out a way for a body to remain alive for an extended period of time while frozen in place. But so far, anybody, or any animal that's ever been discovered frozen in ice has never still been alive when thawed out. Whether frozen in ice or whatever scientific frozen cryogenic liquid, no one yet has been able to figure out how a living body can still recieve oxygen and remain alive while frozen for an extended period of time, and also not age during that period of time or else it defeats the purpose of time traveling into the future. If scientists ever could find a way to do this, they'd do many tests on lab animals before ever trying it on a person. And then they'd conduct tests for shorter time periods such as 15 minutes or half an hour before ever trying it for years. But none of that Could ever begin unless scientists discovers a way a living body can stay alive and not age while remaining frozen in some form.

So to time travel we do not need to transport ourself. but time and space and everything around us. Good luck to do that xp In the movie the adam project they use black holes to travel in time i dont see that hapening We would just die. Also when we go away from earth time also goes slower. So gravity has also something to do with it.

@@HappyDude1 I have read about that somewhere about parts of space away from earth where time moves at different speeds. I've never seen The Adam project but I'll check that out. All I know about black holes though is that they just crush everything and like you said, we'd just die trying to go into one. I don't think that time travel and black holes have any connection. But the thing about science though is new things can always be discovered. Scientists 50 years ago thought that they had everything figured out but look at all that's changed since then, so who knows what kinds of changes could occure in the next 50 years. Certain scientific principles though such as the basic laws of physics don't change though, and certain things like traveling backwards in time or elephants learning to fly won't ever be possible.

Yes for sure and the authentic 2016 self lacing version from Nike. But they cost like $30000 to get and only 89 pairs ever made and most have been claimed already by collectors so really no way of getting them. But the normal version thats not self lacing is normally about $10000 to buy and they made like 7500 so fairly easy to get so that's an option and you can buy them on Stocks for any size with guaranteed authentics no replicas since its Stocks and they authenticate them before they send them to you. Also the 2016 self lacing version only has sizes 7, 9, 11 and 13 which are only odd sizes and if you are in the middle you have to go a size up and also I size 13 has been sold on Stockx and I don't think size 7 has either.
