It’s very wholesome to include your family in your videos and I didn’t think the quality of the video suffers because of them at all! Thanks for this review, gonna drive to the east for this!

Your knowledge of dishes, history, and Singaporean food culture (e.g. number of stalls, comparison between stores, location of stalls) is the best I have seen on KZbin. Combine this with your analytical mind and language, and you give genuine fresh insight into food culture in Singapore. In all seriousness, you should write a book, it would be a valuable repository of knowledge.

Just a small observation but I really like how he put in a small edit to clarify himself so that viewers will get a more accurate review of the food. I thought that minor detail is what sets Greg apart because he's so meticulous in his reviews.

Gregory, your family is so adorable. Your children are so sweet. The Xing Ji noodle looks more appealing than the Poh Minced Meat. The broth looks good though. Great video👍🏼

So Ah Poh is your Xing Ji express if you dislike the long queue. Appreciate your hardwork in helping me differentiate the nuances between the 3 stalls. Been eating this for the last 20 yrs, and still can't tell the difference. The decision was ultimately decided on the waiting time. Thumbsup!

I think one that has been gaining popularity and queue lengths would be the eunos famous bak chor mee . It is if you like a more garlicky kick to your soupy noodles, and their chili with fish sauce is sooo spicy. Worth a try and would like to know your views on it too ! Subscribed !

I remembered there was once I had it at Bedok original branch, the broth was so great that I went back the following day. But as one stall was closed, the other stall was jammed packed, they needed to add water resulting diluted broth quality, that I had not visited since then.

I like that in this channel, I’ve not seen any gratuitous expressions over how delicious whatever the food is. Instead, we get seemingly frank feedback and little known histories about the hawkers.

after this video long queues will start to form, this also shows most singaporeans dunno anything about food they only know how to queue, they know how to eat? Who dunno how to eat.

I notice kids these days all don’t eat chilli, parents also oblige. Me and my peers, we all grew up eating spicy and chilli. Not a personal attack, just observation. Feels like next gen gonna be so Ang moh, everything also can’t eat. No chilli, no “scary food”, no intestines, just nuggets and tomato sauce.

If a food doesn't have queues of at least 2 hours it is not consider as good food. Many singaporeans like me like to queue for our foods. It is very cool and satki to queue long long so we can haolian and show off on our instagram how long we queue. My longest queuing record is for 5 hours for Chicken Rice. I feel very proud of myself. :)
