It’s obvious that caretakers clean the area around the headstones. I wonder why they don’t do it for the table and flat tombs? Memorials are for the living to honor the dead and that’s hard to do when you can’t read the inscriptions. Note: The HMS Black Prince was a cruiser that was sunk at the Battle of Jutland in 1916 with all hands lost. This is likely a cenotaph.
