I’m glad you pointed out the season release code, so many people don’t know about it and they will then complain saying something was resealed or they were scammed. The mini tins is a lot more noticeable but with the larger 4 pack tins so many people miss it.

I think you have addressed this in one of your vids with the Series 1 Prize packs where it seemed like and by Rev's own admission that he didn't do enough research on the Prize packs. However, what makes Rev pretty solid is that he admitted he messed up and promised to do better and likely do more research in the future. IF he keeps up that promise that makes him the better Poketuber a the end of the day.

I've been burned by tins too, and raged about better labeling lol, I think they should really just list specific packs in wording on the product instead of number of packs, seems like a relatively easy way to make tins better for the consumers. But in my case it was the Venu/Celebi tag team tins and the seller didn't specify and it was before I realized tins like this got reprinted like that. Got like 6 of em. I really think they need to change the dates. This would help a ton of people new and old when buying products. However, I dont think they will do that when they wont even change the product pics of a good amount of the products they sell mainly sealed products like poke tins, tins, etc. The ultra ball tin still shows 2 sun and moon and 1 xy pack. I know I didnt get that but I also know they have variations of the product. Many dont. At least show the change for products like this.

That’s from the original release, not the reprint. They put the codes on there to counter that and as I said, the packs change with the tcg. Always have. A date change would be nice but by no means not doing that is the same as scamming. He knows about the codes and didn’t tell you. I did. 🤷🏽‍♂️

A surprising amount of people don't know that Pokemon/MJ Holdings use leftover tins and repackage shit with newer packs years alter, it sucks but part of life. I remember my friend bought a bunch of older tins only to find out they had the dollar store packs inside...

Lets be honest here; Pokemon Company Intl. will never update the tin dates because they printed excess to begin with. They also don’t care about the secondary market either (which I’m perfectly fine with). It would be nice to have updated labels to more easily know what products on retail shelves are newer or older print but it’s not important imo. KZbin has just devolved into a place where people with low knowledge assert themselves as a “knowledgeable figure” and then just state stuff with such certainty and gall that people just believe them, which is insane when accounting for some of the wildly inaccurate and heavily misinformed stuff they constantly say. And the horrendous clickbait titles and thumbnails. Just sad that we get these barely any time in the hobby poketubers acting like they know what they’re talking about and then simultaneously complaining about having to do research. Nice video! Very classic and professional, I like how you did your research on him and his content through out his channel to point out that how his argument is not valid. It’s pretty clear that he isn’t a true at heart collector and probably did collect at one point and decided to get back in to feed off the hype and try to be a KZbinr to make money of this wave of Pokémon since he see’s everyone else doing it and making good money. It is pretty clear that he has no connections and is just an average joe like me but trying to go to basic stores to find his purchases. I mean it does get pretty old and tiring seeing him go to the same stores over and over and then get excited for restocks. Anyways, it does seem to me that he does suffer from making good content that is actually entertaining and new. Okay so me personally i could careless what packs come inside tins cuz i just love opening tins and getting what i get. I definitely agree they changed packs to keep up with the standard in the tcg card game. Also when it came to the mini tins please tell me im not the only one that thinks like this. So the tiny mini tins say sun and moon series pokemon cards contains 10 cards plus 1 energy, and xy series contains just 10 cards. Wouldn’t that mean that if the mini tins contains sword & shield packs they should know what to expect. But if they contain one sun&moon pack you aren’t gonna get the same number of cards compared to xy packs since the only list 10 cards? Like its the tin is just saying if you get either sun&moon or xy packs the number varies?

So you aren’t the only one who thinks this, and this is where I gave merit to the laziness of labels. When those tins were originally made that Seismic featured Sword and Shield didn’t exist. They are literally using tin labels from 2019. Which is lazy. However if you look at any of the Galar Mini Tins it will say Sword and Shield packs contain so on and so for the on there, just like you are saying it’s an expectation of pack contents, not a pack guarantee. It’s a time thing, not a deceitful thing like it’s being portrayed by Seismic. Pokémon however can never be accused of scamming for two reason. 1: no where on any product, even the the tin he opened from 2014, does it say what booster packs you get, it just describes an era. Two: Pokémon never increases the price and gives the exact same tins. Pack prices are purely influenced by second hand movements, not Pokémon. This video is made because Seismic knows all of this as I demonstrated with him gaining views by “hunting” product codes for packs, but changing everything when the narrative seems like he can kinda twist Pokémon’s nuts. Which he cannot. I hope that helps

Pokémon cycles packs with every new release though to keep up with players as well, so if you see older product hitting the shelves again two to three years later it will have modern packs. Lmao I had the same thing happen to me back in the day, with these same 2014 tins lol - they did this a lot and the guy should have done his research. I got a 2014 Blastoise EX Tin and it had Evo inside. Recently I opened up some 2016 Battle Hearts tins expected 4 packs up til about Steam Siege, and got two Evos in one of them - that's because they did a 'second' wave of those tins with new packs.
