LOL. Sports card guys. I remember going early to stand in line and talking with them. Oh they were in line to get sports cards. They’d ask me what I was after. I’d be friendly and tell them then watch them coming out the door with their carts full of what I was after. It took two times to realize they were pumping me for the best things to buy. I refused to engage with them after that.

Reminds me of that time Rusty tried to shill some card shop selling courses saying it was worth it. There was so much backlash the card shop took down his courses. I believe Z&G did a video on it. This Reminds me of when Leonhart's Rare Candy boxes was being released. the box told you that there was a PSA 10 Card inside, but all of the cards were the same card Shiny Charmeleon from Hidden Fates, or a modern foil reverse holo. $50.00 dollars for 2 modern packs and a bulk card in a slab.

Was hilarious during the pandemic, would bring my son to Target and we'd wait for the restock after 2 or 3 weeks and we'd be there 30-45 min early so he could get some, and we'd be 10 people deep in line and everyone in front of us was >65 wearing a dusty old Starter Yankee jacket and looked like they got ripped out of a 7-11 dumpster, they'd buy one of each pokemon item then go to the sports cards and there'd be nothing fucking left. Got into more arguments than I'd have liked to, but after watching it happens 2 or 3 times due to the same people we'd had enough.

@@OpossumBud I honestly think you could compare them more.... this course if you know NOTHING about Pokémon is actually pretty good and if you are here to make a quick buck you MIGHT have gotten enough from it... college is very similar very few people below masters level are employed in their major and if they are it is low end position making a fraction of the debt they are in....in the internet again ANYONE can learn anything if you research it enough online be it Pokémon card Reselling or physics, statistics or something like how to fix a broken drain. Every single person reading this has more information in their hands then ever before in history. But if people chose courses, college etc and blow their own money that's their issue at the end of the day! W the caveat I know a few people who went to school for computer programing etc they actually learned and actually made out pretty well in life. In that case you could argue it was worth it as learning something complicated like that is probably better in a college setting.
