In all of my GWR games I have not seen a CP victory once (unless I play as Germany). For whatever reason Germany ALWAYS signs the armistice in 1916, and I can never get to the late war. I'm not sure if anyone knows why this keeps happening, or if it even occurs to them, but if anyone may have a suggestion please let me know.

They most likely peaced out in a scripted event, then instantly rejoined the Entente only to get crushed again since they lost most of their troops when surrendering, because sadly, hoi4 mechanics are not meant for separate peace deals.
