Good list but shoeless Joe is a legend and achieved the 3rd highest batting average in less than 11 years. And big papi is an absolute legend and aside from jeter was the face of baseball the for the last 15 years

Malachi Beauregard 7 years of great baseball isn’t enough to be the goat. Like at what hank Aaron Willie Mays Stan Musial Ernie banks etc they were great for 10+ years. I said he doesn’t stack up JUST YET. No way in hell you can tell me his resume and accolades are on par with those greats stop it. His resume doesn’t even stack up with Pujols and he’s washed now!

Ryan and what about it? I said his resume doesn’t stack up JUST YET. He’s career numbers aren’t even great JUST YET. He hasn’t reached 1500 hits yet and he just eclipsed 250 homers. His hardware isn’t even on par with the greats of the past. If you think he retires now and gets in you’re delusional. IMO once he reaches 10 years of work then yes he’ll get in because by then he’ll have more MVPs silver sluggers might even add a gold glove(but I wouldn’t bet money on it with KK from the Rays being better than him defensively) he won’t win a ring cause the angels organization is atrocious and will be behind the Astros for the next decade. Trout needs to add more accolades and add a whole lot more to his career numbers. He can get 500 maybe 550 homers when his done and he could be around 3000 hits might not reach it but he’ll be close. Stop being a prisoner of the moment

Hank Aaron is still the homerun king because Barry Bonds took steroids
@Gmark255 жыл бұрын
Wow this conversation is so old and lacking of understanding between baseball and PEDs that when people say this I treat it like politics. It's awful, Bonds is arguably one of the top 3 baseball players ever taking consideration of any amount of steroids. If anyone can prove to me differently with facts regarding PED's, what he specifically took, how it directly effected his abilities and his other stats combined, I'll gladly listen.

I’m already questioning this list when you called Ernie Banks a second basemen😂. Thanks for putting him in GOAT tier though. He was on pace to be the greatest shortstop ever before injuries derailed him. The man is still the only shortstop to ever hit 500 HRs without steroids though.

Why tf is jeter in great and not in goat wtf fuzzy
@TragicElite6025 жыл бұрын
George Brett should be in the goat conversation. He hit .390 in the 1980 season while going most of the season over .400. He is also only one of four people to hit .300, 3000 hits, and hit 300 home runs. The others are willie mays, Stan Musial, and hank Aaron. The man was an absolute monster in the clutch as well. He also has the most hits ever recorded by a third baseman. The guy is in the convo for all time great. Besides that, the greatest ever was babe Ruth. Obviously a monster at the plate, and everyone seems to forget that he was a good pitcher too. Best hitter of all time is Ted Williams. Period.

Uh, no...Ernie Banks played shortstop, then switched to first. Won back-to-back MVPs at short. But regardless, he is a GOAT and not because I've been a Cubs fan for 57 years...
