@@joshuarawlins7793.....The ‘smart ones’ that built my second husband’s home, placed the light switch in the kitchen, halfway behind the refrigerator. But the refrigerator requires being away from the wall anyway, so it works. Then, in the master bedroom and laundry room, they placed the light switches almost two freaking feet away from the door! I’ve never seen such idiocy.

@Grace Be - I have a similar light switch snafu setup in my manufactured home. The hallway light switch is in the middle of the hall (right below the light itself) and the master bedroom light switch is about 3 feet in and around the corner from the doorway. So you have to walk in the dark to turn on lights to get you into the bedroom. 🙄🙄

I want to thank you so much for encouraging those of us that have been holding off starting a channel. I personally have wanted to start one for a long time and have let my fear of not being able to learn to edit well, not having the perfect equipment and just being nervous, get in the way. I actually was an actress long ago so I really have no excuse to be camera shy. As for this home. It checked off all the boxes for me. My heart about stopped when you opened the door to the pantry. For me, I like this "closed concept" floor plan better than the big wide open plans. The open plans are nice, but I like the flow of this place and you can't see right into the kitchen from the front door. Nice place!

It’s a win for everybody and if you have kids you can have them in the media room while the adult’s are in the living room or dinning room. Even if your husband or your kids and their friends are in the media room hanging out you can still have your privacy in the kitchen, living room or bedroom because the media room is at the back close to the laundry room and there’s a washroom right there so the other side of your house can still remain private. Really great layout!

Wow, it's perfect! It has more space than I would know what to do with! Since I like front porches, it could most likely be 10 feet deep. And that would be it. Like you I was caught off guard by the pantry, It's huge!! The attic was so huge you can have private quarters upstairs. WOW!

Wow! That home was amazing! I wasn't sure how I felt about the stairs in the dining area but I love it not sticking out like a sore thumb as soon as you walk in! If I could change one thing tho, it would definitely be the sliding glass door in the living room. Not a fan.

the living room is light and bright and airy. The arches are pretty and break up all the square angles. the kitchen is beautiful and spacious. love the pot drawers. it needs a pot filler. a really great pantry i think if you have an infant that you could put a playpen in there for nap time ,,, should be good and quiet. nice family bath, descent size bedrooms like the toned town paint colors, makes it feel soothing. very nice utility room. I really like the bonus room, so many possibilities: media room, craft room, music room, study, office, computer room, guest room, nursery, studio, home schooling, sewing room, etc.... master suite is fantastic . . . except . . . . . That beautiful shower needs to be modified . . . . it needs to be a roll in shower. I wonder what the cost would be without the second floor?????

This home brought me to tear with the side door and the Arch doorways throughout the house because of my mom and dad made a home for us with same layout and it burn down when I was in the eight grade brought back Memories of my deceased mother I couldn’t stop crying while watching this home tears was poring like fountain of water down my face . Nice, but I would turn that first Master closet into a small computer room/den. Just a small place to be alone. As for the second story its nice and great for a growing family, For someone like myself I would opt out of the second and just make it a nice ranch.

Oh My Goodness, that was the best surprise ever! Beautiful pantry AND pantry dance! I loved those deep, long drawers in the island, right across from the oven, perfect for pots and pans! I loved everything about that utility room! The closets in that master bedroom were perfect! I loved the media room and that second story could have room for a couple of extra bedrooms, a bathroom and even another media/family room! Thanks for sharing this one with us Chance!!!

Graham is awesome! This HAS to be your favorite Vanderbuilt home, Chance. Too big for me, but it's fabulous. I'd upgrade faucets and sinks. Too bad the utility room wasn't closer to the master. The tiny kitchen closet is weird - I'd probably make it the small pantry for every day use (as a pantry) OR for cleaning supplies and tools. The arches throughout are awesome!
