These are beautiful homes bottom line. A house is not a home until people live in it and take care of it. It's not where you live but how you live. It's about being a wise steward over what God gives you. Everybody cant live in a mansion but everybody can live good. If you live in a mobile home or want to buy one. It's like buying any other home. Be wise, do research, and make sure it's what you want. It may be cheap to someone else but long as it's priceless to you. It's all good😁

Manufactured homes are built by different companies for different areas of the country. You can option it however you like; my dealer doesn't do any more vinyl walls they are all drywall standard. Will you pay for it? Yeah. But they also have 2x6 walls and all then energy efficiency you need. Check your manufacturers before you purchase one.

That happens in brick homes too. The difference is deductible and time it takes to clean up and rebuild. $10k or so for a good under ground shelter (tax deductible in some places). I recommend it gets cleaned when you clean your house to prevent dust, mold and spiders. My aunt had a great idea of a bucket with a liner and a roll of toilet paper and waters and some dried food items. Might want a jacket, work/walking shoes, radio, maybe a change of clothes. Lost a home in a tornado and that was before they turned into the monsters they are now. No one wins in an F6. Ps. I'm from Moore, OK. Digital photos online are how I keep photos now.

Some ppl buy to invest in a home and aren't interested in actually living in these nice homes and that's why ppl say and think these home does depreciation but if you're interested in being greedy and want to make money then don't buy a mobile home ok so don't knock what other people want if they want to just live and enjoy life in a mobile then let them so stop hating and shut the hell up if you think they're being built cheap because someone sounds like a disgruntled employee!

It maybe 59,900 but there is way more cost involved. Moving, setups, and the ridiculous amount for taxes, your better off buying a stationary house plus maintenance, thinks break and it takes them for ever to fix if at all. In the end you pay more for these than a regular house!!!

These are not homes. The insurance industry devalues these based on a 27.5 year formula. Like a car every year they lose value. I've seen a real estate agent in Florida for 30 years. Investigate what you are getting.

Hey OrangeSunshine2 Florida MH Owner Here too. :-) Your 100% Right. Man oh Man. The Insurance IS HIGH! If You Can Get A Company. Lots Of MH Insurance Companies Bailed. When Florida was getting increased and back to back Hurricanes. AND LETS NOT FORGET THE COST!1 OF THE LOT RENT MY Brothers and Sisters :-) The MH Sellers Always MAKE MH Look Inexpensive To Buy! BUT! NEVER! Tell You About Home Owner Insurance! YEARLY STICKER IN THE WINDOW AS IF YOU ARE A CAR/TRUCK. And If You Have A Double Wide AHEM! You HAVE TO BUY 2 Window Stickers. From Auto Registration! Its CONSIDERED 2 Mobile Homes. Then You Have The Strict! Park Laws Do/Don't...Sell, LOL LOL Good Luck. And Yes, A MH Loses Value As Soon As You Drive It Off The Lot "per say" AS MUCH as I Like A MH. Nice video tour, but you missed some details that I would like to know, like; what is the wiring and plumbing materials, how big is the electrical service panel, what is the R value in the walls and ceiling, what is the heating and cooling system and where are you located. All of those things make a difference to potential buyers.
@debrabell73726 жыл бұрын
it was made in 2013 so I'm sure the wire is all up to code the elec. box is in the laundry room this one is pretty nice compared to some like the floors and the granite counters, but usually 2 x 4 construction and standard installation, Windows are double pane that's nice, not sure how I feel about the vents in the ceiling's but when there on the floor in mobiles there not up against the wall more in the center so I guess that's nice having them up above, cost to move depending on how far it is around $3000 +, then you got your land water tap sewer grading it adds up, I put brick under pin on the one I own, they usually don't come with under pinning, so your looking at another 20 to 30 thousand to do it all and depending on your lot size, so this model is priced high in my opinion, guess that's how much they are these days.

You guys always keep knocking mobile homes. get off your high horse and understand that it's still a home. You all keep talking about the home losing its value and it would be harder to sell 20 years from now. look. nobody knows what will happen to years from now. A lot of us could drop dead within the first 2 years! just get yourself a used doublewide and slap that sumbitch on a piece of land, and you would profit a lot on savings within the first year. I'm going to be a truck driver, and i would hate to have a home financed, all while I'm OTR for the first year or two and Im barely home to even enjoy it.
@debbrowning95524 жыл бұрын
Miguel Robb I understand all that, yes it is still a home. So, by you deciding to do it this way, why don’t you just take that money for the mobile home and flush it down the toilet now. It will save you pain after 10-20 years when you go to sell it or try and Re-finance it there’s little increase in value. If you don’t care what you do with your hard earned money then ok. Buying a home and land is an investment and one of the biggest investments you’ll make in your lifetime. I’m trying right this minute to buy a Modular home not a Mobile home to put on my paid off land. My appraisal came in with comparisons of Manufactured homes in my area boy were we disappointed. The newest home was 18 years old and we came in at $410.k., I was so upset because we needed to come in at $458k not happy. Then our Mortgage rep asked me if our new home is a MH Advantage? I knew it was built like a stick built with 2x4 on the inner walls and 2x6 on outer and higher rating on insulation and Low e windows, so on, so found out it was a MH Advantage Home. New designation. So, Appraiser re did our appraisal with this information and is comparing home to both manufactured and site built or stick built homes in my area. Guess what the new number came back $525,000. That’s why we buy smarter.

Also watch out for that "hardboard siding" on part of the siding!! I have a Redman Mfg which had "hardboard siding!!" When the "card board" "hardboard siding" reach 3 years of age, I had this leak which poured in the master bath!, My dad came and had a hose on the roof. He said, "Yell when you see water coming in!! Never saw water. A few days later, we had one of the "afternoon storms" that come in most afternoon/evening in Florida. I came home and found a massive puddle in the master bath!! Dad came back again. He went on the roof, nothing. He stayed that afternoon and the etorm came in!! Rain was pouring into the master bath!! After it stopped raining, dad focused on the siding. It had "panels" that were 4 feet wide and 10 feet high! It had an eave making a triage od this CRAPPY hardboard siding!! Every place that showed the panels ending, had a "decorative" piece of 5 inch by 12 feet!! The "accent" board to cover panels meeting up, was painted darker brown with the main hardboard painted a tan color. So on my 3 year old home, I now had to drag a ladder out every 6 MONTHS and caulk every place where boards met the darker accent wall!! Shortly after the puddle in the bathroom, I found the "hardboard" siding under the master bedroom window! That piece of CRAP hardboard siding was completely soft!! I had to hire someone to cut out a big section of soft CARDBOARD siding and replace it with a wood siding. Only one problem with that---didn't even come close to the look of the cheap hardboard siding!!! Redman homes werr less than helpful!! They refused to put vinyl siding on it!! They also used the cheap plumbing which of course Redman refused to replumb the house!! One night, my toilet had sprung a leak and my dqd (on the phone) said, "Turn the valve next to the toilet off and he would be by the nedt day. I said, "Valve, what valve??" Dad said they must put shut off valves under every sink, washer hookup, bathtub, and toilet. Not only was water still pouring in, I couldn't find this valve, AND the outside shut off was in a deep hole that had a snake. Dad said, don't you have a shut off key?? Um, no. I found a cop leaving the area! I said there is a puddle in the bathroom and by morning I'll have an indoor pool! Of course the first thing he said was why don't you just turn the valve off in the house. Cause I don't have one!! He came in the house and says, it is a little valve that will shut off water to that toilet. I said is it IN the tank of the toilet?? He walked into the bathroom, and looks at the toilet! He said, "Hey what did you do with the shut off valve??" I said there isn't one in the other bathroom, sinks, etc. Thank goodness the cop had a water shut off thing sink we heard rattling from that snake. My dad came down the next day and says, there is no valve! Yeah no kidding! So every 6 months I had to caulk and each year I had to paint!! Lots of fun on a place that was 7 years old and BRAND NEW when I got it! And the plumbing was changed by a class action lawsuit. Hardboard siding should be called "cardboard siding" because it is the same as wetting cardboard!! In 2002 I finally had vinyl siding put on it. Maybe it waa premonition that I wouldn't be able to go up ladders! Thanks to FOUR drivers whk couldn't drive, and MS, I would have been in deeper than I am. Make sure this mfgr is not REDMAN HOMES!!!!
@dorrisloumartin18496 жыл бұрын
I bought a used Redman Mobile Home , owner financed. I had it insured thankfully. It caught fire while I was at work. The investigation found "Aluminum wiring through out the structure." I’m 26 with no wife and no kids. I been doing electrical work (wiring entire homes) since I was 16 which is how I bought my first car. I have watched/helped my pops build a 3 store house in which he lives in now and I grew up in for most of my teenage years. I have been employed with contractors where I have learn how to pour large concrete slabs, operate heavy equipment, even drive dump trucks with no cdl (I know, illegal). I know how to and I have put stones on a entire house with NO help, but me. My brother always tell me “I’m a older woman’s dream” 😂 I said all that to say this; I thought about getting me a house build from ground up, I thought about building my own house from ground up but honestly I think when I’m finally ready, and got my money how I want it I’m just gone buy a single, double, or triple wide. I feel like I’m cutting myself short or settling by going that route but honestly It’s some real beautiful mobile homes out there and the only bad thing is they loose value real quick.... You can contact me at “k_siggers@yahoo.com” for free estimates on just about any job you may be looking to have done. BeBlessed

You'll remember he gave you this chance to accept him in your life and to simply listen. To a post from a fellow believer. But it will be to late for you. The proof will be at the end of your Life.

You people can come out to the country and pay $100,000 for a house! This guy's wanting that for a 3 bedroom 2 bath and you haven't even talked about the property you need to put it on. That's just crazy. Around here, nice double wides that size are about $60,000. And I would never invest in a mobile home unless It has drywall. Better built mobile homes will last like a house. Do research people! !

Thank you Anthony for telling it like it is. Anthony provides great insight into "behind the scenes." Mobile homes are made with the CHEAPEST of materials...... Then SLAPPED TOGETHER having to follow rigid schedule timelines. ********************************************************************** ********************************************************************** That is why (among other reasons) that mobile homes loose value much like a car and.....why...... Most lender will not loan $.01 on a mobile home. Why? They are a lending risk and loose value. Banks aren't stupid! Again....THANK YOU Anthony!

My brother worked for Skyline (I believe thats the name of it) and they built them very well, and he's not from China. We lived in FL and the site was in Ocala.

I hate to say that I hate somebody but I swear I hate the architect whoever he or she may be that came up with the idea of putting bathrooms in front of closets or putting closets in the bathroom. whoever you are I hate you. I hate that idea. I don't want my clothes where water is. the whole concept is horrible and I don't understand why people keep buying these houses that are built like that.

Living Well With TJ Poor? If he could afford a 5 bedroom mobile home he's not that poor; plus some "real homes" like you call them, cost about the same(mine did). In my opinion there's nothing wrong with living in a trailer, mobile home, manufactured home etc. Everybody lives in what they like or what they can afford, no shame in that.
