I love the fact that the bedrooms are lager. Not all of us have little kids. Some people have a parent or adult children and need more room. This one is perfect!

Seriously...I always thought it was dumb that the main bedroom is like 15'x20' then the other 3 or 4 bedrooms are like 8'x10'. Talk about a serious waste of space. It's usually just price gouging to make a house seem bigger than it really is. Take it from me, a guy who lives in a 4 bedroom house the size of what should be a 2 bedroom

This is so true, I have my parents and they need a lot of space for their wheelchair and walkers. I am also disabled and it's frustrating to not have a bathroom that's not adapted to handicap or disabled people.

This hit my top 5! I'm a gardener/canning person so I need a kitchen that has storage! The only thing in the kitchen I'd change is a gas stove top just for that reason. Still not a deal breaker; this home is almost perfect!

I did loads of gardening and canning until I had major spinal injuries. It was always my dream to have a separate canning kitchen. A close family friend had a canning kitchen area in her basement. With all the crazy weather and stuff now I would love to have a wood cook stove to also use for emergency heating.

We built our modular home almost 30 years ago and it was a great decision. We spent about $210K at the time which was still much less than we could have done with stick built. That included the land (2 acres), septic, well, and basic landscaping, and finishing the interior enough to get a CO. No one who comes over knows it was a modular. Over the years we added a deck, patio, sunroom, central air, and stone on the foundation, garage, and chimney.

Probably the most beautiful home I have seen thus far. I wouldn't change a thing. Nice and roomy, large laundry room, beautiful and functional kitchen, very spacious. Yep, this one is a winner.....too bad I don't live near enough to buy one. But would recommend that people that are looking, this would be great family home!

This home is beautiful outside. Walking in, it’s gorgeous. The kitchen has so much storage. The cabinets go all the way to the ceiling. The pantry is phenomenal. I love the den down the hall. The layout of the secondary bedrooms are great. The family bathroom is in a perfect, central location. The master bedroom is awesome size. The closet has great space. The master bathroom, love the vanity storage, shower is great size and no tub to have to deal with. The laundry room is spacious and in a great location. The secondary bedrooms are great size with good size closets. And 2 coat closets should cover everyone. I have no complaints. Add a garage, 2nd floor and basement and I would get lost in there and never have to leave home! Great video Nate! Lots of room but no basement for more storage for tools and other things you don't want everyone to see. I love the size of the bedrooms as well. Lots of closet space as well. The kitchen and dining room is very spacious. I don't know if I like the livingroom right there when you walk in. Our house has the same thing. I don't know what to suggest to put in it's place at this time; maybe an office with frosted french doors for more privacy?!?

Nice. I like a wall oven. Pantry is huge but a little far from the kitchen. I like cabinets in the master bath; they are different. The second bath could use double sinks for 3 bedrooms to use. I’d like patio doors in the dining area instead of windows ( go in and out for grilling). No sink in the island. No wire racks. No floor vents. Like the den . Like the layout. Like the kitchen cabinets.

It’s beautiful! I live in a small modular. The biggest thing for people to check into is that you can’t get a home equity line of credit on these because they are not a traditional build. We would love to expand ours but can’t do anything other than a personal loan. Extremely frustrating! I’m not sure if this is the case everywhere but it is on this house!

I believe the bedrooms, the two furnished rooms anyhow, have smaller size beds in them in order to make the room look bigger. The master bedroom is a good size however if you put a king size bed in the room it would not look quite so big. Just the usual “house styling” tricks used by the professionals.

I love the home Nate but I’m disappointed with the wire racks once again in Homes By Vanderbilt….. at the cost of this home, I definitely wouldn’t want to have wire racks in the closet or pantry! Love the size of the pantry and where’s the soaking tub and fireplace? In North Carolina we sometimes get bad weather and lose our electricity although a generator could be added…..but I love the intimacy of a fireplace in my home. BBlessed Nate! Miss Teena

A person could almost! put a door going into that "Den" area and it has two bedrooms off of it...turn one into a small bathroom with storage and leave the other bedroom and you have a space for a mini apt, or mother in law suite!! and no structural changes needed, just add some plumbing!

I really love this house. But, I'd leave out the window in the pantry area. Also, I would definitely get the wooden closet railings. DK if I'd certainly get the optional back/side entrance (shown on the plan) cause I love the pantry area as is. If the company serviced places other than in NC, though, I'd probably seriously get one of these houses - at least I'd try to have my husband get it for us. It seems to be plenty big for us both. Usually you can make changes to the floorplan before you start. We added windows and swapped two rooms, then ended up flipping the entire design over to fit the lot better, when we did ours years ago.

Im a very picky person on some things, I like how they did the cabinets all the way to the ceiling, like the coffee counter & buffet counter set up, I like how the master bath isn't hogging up tons of sq footage, Love the pantry & how much space they gave the utility area. I normally am not a fan of 2 living room spaces but the way this one is set up, & the fact that the kitchen & dinning room didnt get short changed for it, I like it, good set up space for a kids play area.

Beautiful home Nate, I love the open concept and the den is the perfect place for that entertainment room. That is the biggest pantry I think I’ve ever seen. I did notice there was a light switch on one end of that island in the kitchen and I can’t figure out why they would put one there. Maybe a code thing in that area I suppose. At 354 thousand dollars this home is a steal, much larger than I would need but if you need space this home’s for you. Can’t wait for that surprise next year.

That largest 2nd bedroom should have its own ensuite bath and larger closet. I just wish they came further to western NC. Is there a plug in the pantry for a freezer? The plugs in the utility room are great for Roombas and stick vacuum. Thanks Nate.😊

Probably just me but I don’t really care for a sink or a cooktop in my island. I like a level, big island for being creative. There’s a lot of unused counter space that would accommodate the sink and dishwasher. I would add a drawer microwave to the island though instead of putting it on the countertop or over the cooktop.

I love the way my home is,although it needs work a lot of work. Living room can be closed off from the dining room & kitchen. Wish my kitchen was a little different,but i have what i have. Although the home was free it came with a lot of problems and like i say still has a lot of problems,but hoping to get those fixed one day. Hard to do on a fixed income and disabled people,but oh well! it has four bedrooms,two of the bedrooms are connected,sort of. You have to walk through one to get out of the other one. Been thinking about changing that one day,wish I had a better utility room it has mold and decay,so does both bathrooms. But again hoping to fix all of that,some day.
