Thanks for including the intro! I personally like the unhinged vocals with a slight attitude, goes well in contrast with the classical guitar work. Next you could do Annihilator's spiritual sibling, Artillery from Denmark - double song as well "7:00 from Tashkent" & "Khomaniac". (I am sure you're familiar, definitely would have been on those top lists :)))

That was some heavy piano playing there bro! Awesome! I do that whenever I see a piano in public or at someone's house, I sit down and start playing dark gothic classical stuff... Start out with Bach then dive deep with some improvisational darkness!! Perfect intro to this awesome Annihilator song as well!! "I trust you, I just don't believe anything you say...." other great canadian thrash sacrifice - torment in fire and soldiers of misfortune are both great albums from end to end razor - pretty much every track - consistent output, all killer no filler exciter - heavy metal maniac fun fact if you were unawares, annihilator/sacrifice/exciter/razor are the four horsement of canadian thrash much like how metallica/megadeth/slayer/anthrax are their US counterparts not canadian (german i think) are a band called Stallion who have a song called Canadian Steele which is a love song to canadian thrash. not only that but Darkthrone has a song called Canadian Metal. the Canadian sound is definitely a thing (thor/anvil/hazzerd) which people who are unaware need to become aware

Best songs on that record are Word Salad and Wicked Mystic Btw, vocalist Randy Rampage wasnt a singer, thats why many people dislike or dont care about his style, he was mainly a bass player in punk/hardcore bands if my memory serves well, and the cat sound "Alison" that Judson points is done by Jeff Waters, who worked a lot with untrained singers for the vocals I guess to have a different sound cos he already had a distinctive guitar tone and sound you can identify in most riffs and solos
@nicolasvega2658Ай бұрын
Guys, I wanna recomend you an Argentinian band named Frater. Very professional guys and they just released their 3rd album in which I worked as Drum Tech. And they have two singers. One baritone/tenor (gutural and clean) and another baritone (clean only). The album's name is Sangre y Viento (Blood and Wind), and there's two songs wich are my favourite: Persiguiendo al Sol (Chasing the sun, as reference of Icarus) and the other one is Dias (Days) which has an incredible drum intro and doomy atmosphere. I hope that you can check them out (also, their first album is in english).

Hello, I propose the song Tarka and Ocarina by the band Los Jaivas, a group of Chilean origin, and it is a 13-minute instrumental piece that takes you through different styles such as classical folk rock jazz. I sincerely think that it is a piece that a musician will appreciate, in this case there is a lot of piano.

I forget, reaction to the piece in studio, not live, because not exit a good register in live.

John Bates who co-wrote this song was the original singer back in the early 80’s when they were all based in Ottawa. Nice, gettin' into Canadian thrash band, my turf. How long until you go for some Sacrifice or Razor? Sacrifice is a bit techy so that might be a better choice,at least at first, Razor had one techy album and it's so strangely recorded, even the remaster by the masters of remastering old 80's speed/thrash High Roller Records could barely save it, where they have a couple 10 mins+ songs, (album is Custom Killing). BTW, there is one Pantera song I'm sure would surprise Jutson a bit, you've never put on anything from Far Beyond Driven right? Shedding Skin man....that album is overlooked so much yet is my favorite. If only Annihilator kept on that first LP formula for a bit longer, I don't mind their more power/prog metal stuff but this is their best album still to this day.
