Nice demo! Surprising that electrician didn't simply use ac whip. More sur;prising that you didn't do the branch circuit yourself. Adding a new branch circuit is easier than doing rest of the mini split install.

Mini split tip . I installed zip ties on the line set cover before I bolt it down to the wall . Makes securing the line set so much easier .nice install .

My Gree 12k wall unit came with a 4 wire plug that wasn't plugged into anywhere. I don't see that plug in the back of your unit at 1:23 do you have any idea where it goes or if it needs to be plugged in anywhere? Contacting Gree is useless as they don't speak to customers only HVAC companies.

Thats to wire in a wall mounted thermostat, its completely optional. If you like the wireless remote then you dont need it.

Is this the 230 volt model? Or 120 volt? Also, what's the amperage that the compressor runs on?

230v yes 💯 and very low aperage, i cant remeber but i beleive less than 7amps

i have 4 of these mini splits. They were installed 3 years ago and now all are rattling like crazy. The hvac company said i need new motors which they can not get. We have been trying for months now. The noise is no fun!

Also, find a reputable company in your area that will do free second opinion, its so odd that all 4 are shaking, im starting to think it could potentially be an install issue. If those brackets are not bolted down properly the indoor unit will shake/vibrate. Have a pro in your area give you a second opinion just to be 100 percent sure its those blower motors, good luck! 😊

With it off check if the wheel is dirty. Maybe the blower wheel being dirty could cause this.

9k, FLA is 6.6amps (240v)

Hello, What is your opinion on Gree ? Most of the contractors are trying to guide me away from Gree and Midea and push what they carry like Mitsubishi and Carrier

I have installed a ton of them, never had an issue. If you can afford it go Mitsubishi, but if not then theres nothing wrong with Gree. Find a Gree "Select" dealer, and you will get 10 years warranty. 😊

In the summer i do run it constantly in cooling mode and i did notice maybe $20 more on my bill during june/july/august (the hottest months in AZ) Keep in mind, energy savings varies depending on climate, what tonnage unit you get , seer rating and personal use. 😎

if installing mini split like these atleast give 3 meters copper pipe so u wont lose the guarantee.
