Tum Tum That’s a good point. A man standing still in the middle of the road certainly doesn’t look like he just blew a cart up. Most people in Re:Zero would need to swing a sword or cast magic or something to destroy stuff, which would take time. Running them over would prevent most people from attacking. Also, the one who blew up the cart could have been a glass cannon, with high offense and low defense. From Crusch’s perspective, it’s a viable tactic. Of course, this turns out to be wrong, but you can’t really blame Crusch *too* much.

Elric Ayyyyy, only on my second rewatch of Made in Abyss did I cry for that one scene in ep 12, then when I rewatched it with my dad for the recap movies (Wandering Twilight)...we both were fighting back tears cause the scene was more impactful in movie format. i havent read the light novels myself, but i know a bit about his monologues, i think havign him monologue like that would have had a bit of a negative impact on the episode, they didnt want to spend so much time on that part of the story in this situation, and wanted to get to the after effects which honestly the non light novel readers would like to know about, in the future they can probably make time for it, but in this episode there wasnt enough time to fit in a long winded monolgue like that, and what they did got his point across and gave us an idea of his character so i think it works out, but for sure they will probably go into that detail with him later

Can’t believe that people got rid of his right for speech, to do something so preposterous as taking away his right of free speech is a sin in and of itself, like she took away his whole identity. Then going and attacking him, if he wasn’t such a merciful person he would have her killed at the stake. But he is merciful, for letting her off with her arm torn off of her repeated offensives against Regulus rights. Even the original act of running that carriage over him would have killed him if he wasn’t Regulus. Those are just blatant disregard for his human rights that he deserves, he could haven even died if he was a normal person. It hurts to see that a royal candidate would do something so hurtful as disregarding someone’s rights. In fact, it’s atrocious that his rights were ignored like that by one of the people who might’ve lead the country. There’s no saving her, who ignored his basic human rights and vandalized his freedom of speech for any reason. So it only makes sense why he would take away something from her, and he was so gracious with it too, only taking away her arm in comparison to his rights.

That man was just standing in the middle of the road, minding his own business. The cart wreckage? How could she just assume that he was responsible for it? How could Crusch do that? The first time I watched this, I sided with Greed, because it's just rude to run people over on purpose and interrupt them when they're speaking and Crush is behaving like an aggressive idiot. Then I understood that the fight was inevitable the moment they crossed paths, a person who didn't want to fight would just get out of the way of all these wagons, and that Crush and Rem were just quick to understand it. This is also a good moment to recommend having a tourniquet (an armband that stops bleeding from a missing limb) and keeping it on your person or in the car of in an easily accessible place.

man, this episode truly shook me considering Natsuki Subaru has just defeated Petelgeuse, the Sin Archbishop of Sloth, i thought the witch's cult would pipe down on the attacks. Nah they straight up sent 2 archbishops, both having extremely high power level. The music when the Archbishops are being announced is sickening, when i saw that there will be 2 more of those, I was crying. It meant Subaru is about to go down a path of suffering even more challenging than before
