This takes me back to the 70's when I was in primary school and I would trade my packet of twisties for my friend Vicky's mum's home made Greek biscuits they we're so delicious.

Hi! Thank you for this! I literally just made those. They are cooling right now 😄 They smell amazing 😋 I was wondering. I searched many "cretan cookies" recipes. I made some 2 days ago. They look very much like Italian biscotties. They were made with spices, sugar and olive oil instead of butter. They turned out delicious. Do you think it's possible to substitute olive oil for butter in your (Irene's) recipe? To have a version that contains less cholesterol. Thank you. I love your recipes !
