What about the -ούμαι and -ιέμαι endings?? Also, is there a "D" category of verbs?
@greeklessonsonlinevideos
@greeklessonsonlinevideos 3 жыл бұрын
We will see these endings in another lesson! Normally we teach these verbs at the end of the B1 level. There is no D category!

The future of C verbs is very irregular. Normally we teach this grammar at the B2 level. I haven't made a lesson about them yet!!

@@greeklessonsonlinevideos thank you so much for telling me. I kept searching my notes and watched the videos a third time. I thought maybe I made a mistake and did not write down. My biggest question is this. So with many of the verbs there are two ways to spell them, such as for the verbs "to wear," "to love," "to speak," "to laugh." And again it is thanks to you that I know this now. So the first spelling ends with an "aw" and that is a B1. So the second spelling is with just a "w" and an accent on the "w" so that is B2? When making them into future verbs do we conjugate them differently and follow the rules for B1 and B2? It is confusing to me. The Greek Verb Conjugator when I check only lists the B2 form and offers no explanation. Thank you for any directions you can give me. I am learning a lot with your videos, but I am stuck on this one.

@@shannoncavanaugh6264 the present tense is different for these two categories but the future tense will be the same.

@@greeklessonsonlinevideos thank you always for getting back with me. You are so kind. I love your lessons. Thanks to you have have learned the future tense and feel ready enough to move on to the past verb tense. No one has ever explained verbs to me like you have and so it was always a hit and miss with no understanding, but you explain the reasoning so well.
