Thank you so much for this extended menu. I have a question. My husband has developed a severe allergic reaction to beef and pork. This is something new since we were last in Greece in 2018. How can I say to the server so that he understands my husband absolutely cannot even have beef/pork in any sauce or his chicken grilled with any beef/pork. I must carry a shot with me in case he accidentally eats beef/pork and has a seizure. And secondly, I have such a difficult time pronouncing the word "bill." I think I am trying to stress too many of the sounds. Do you have any suggestions on how I can master this word? I am embarrassed when we order, and I try to ask for the bill. Thank you so much for your kindness and offering this lesson.

Everybody has a difficulty with the bill!! Θα ήθελα τον λογαριασμό παρακαλώ (logariasmó). You should say: Ο άντρας μου έχει αλλεργία στο μοσχάρι και στο χοιρινό. Δεν μπορεί να φάει τίποτα από αυτά ακόμα και σε πολύ μικρή ποσότητα. Το φαγητό που παραγγείλαμε σίγουρα δεν έχει ίχνη από μοσχάρι ή χοιρινό ;

I’ve been looking for a menu list like this all over the internet There’s a few items missing that I would like to know such as meatballs and don’t the Greeks eat a lot of cheese and spinach pies? Also, do the islands such as Kos have different foods from the mainland? These videos are great I’m working my way through them, starting with the oldest the first ευχαριστώ πολύ

Why the letter is pronounsed like in French and in other times is not exists but written? It confuse me

Γεια σας. Έχω δύο ερωτήσεις παρακαλώ. 1. I used to know lamb as 'αρνί' and beef as 'μοσχάρι'. What causes these to change to 'αρνάκι', 'μοσχαράκι', 'μοσχαρίσια'? 2. My favourite fish is red mullet, could you tell me how this is known in Greek tavernas? Ευχαριστώ

Γεια! 1. the ending -ακι makes it small -> little lamb, little beef. the word μοασχαρίσια is an adjective, for example μοσχαρίσια μπριζόλα (beef steak) 2. red mullet -> μπαρμπούνι or μπαρμπουνάκι!!
