Just a note, the guy said an entire colony spans across several branches, we only saw one branch smash into the wasp nest and it would’ve been too far for the pheromones to reach their sister ‘bases’. So the ants were fighting with only a fraction of their numbers while the wasps would’ve been in full strength.

I've witnessed quite a few "windstorms" that would randomly throw grasshoppers and beetles into spiderwebs when I was a kid. Also, this sounded like a bunch of mythical beasts where communicating with each other.

+Turbo Goomy I dont think there were the 100k-500k green ants that normally belong to the colony there. And that was one nest, green ants tend to own multiple nests in multiple trees at one time. if you google on average a wasp nest can peak at about 6000 individuals, so 500,000 ants vs 6000 wasps would be the perfect battle. However the storm threw a branch with a few hundred ants onto a wasp nest…and that is what is being shown here. Wish we could see a wasp nest being thrown into a couple hundred thousand ants :P
