Green Berets Pay Tribute to President Kennedy at Arlington National Cemetery

The 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne) held its annual wreath-laying ceremony on October 17, 2024, at former President John F. Kennedy’s gravesite in Section 45 of Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia. This ceremony honors President Kennedy’s lasting impact on the U.S. Army Special Forces, including his official endorsement of the “Green Beret” as their distinctive headgear and his steadfast support of the regiment.
