This is called cooking. My grandma and Mom could take a nearly empty pantry and fridge and make a great meal that everyone enjoyed. MY Dad commented once when I was 6, in 1955. " I don't know how she can make a meal out of what we had in the cupboard." And he was a Navy Cook.
