I know Freddie felt this from wherever he is. There's no way no matter where you are dead or alive, you can't NOT feel THAT much love at you all at once. Beautiful.

This is so awesome. Imagine 65,000 people singing Bohemian Rhapsody with passion, in perfect unison and totally in sync. I was blown away by the crowd's out of this world performance. This is the power of music. It brings people together.

I love the fact that people (including the other members of Queen) told Freddie that Bo Rhap would never make it on commercial radio as it was too long and incohesive.... well that eventually ended up being far from the truth and now look at those thousands of people (mostly young people) years later knowing every word, guitar break - I'm sure Freddie is up there conducting and smiling ear to ear ! The break in the clouds was eerie and powerful. I love Green Day for doing this during their setup to get the crowd ready for their own concert. Thanks for the reaction - this is a very special moment and it still gets to me even though I've watched it literally hundreds of times.

Apart from the fact how do Green Day follow that? This is what happens when you get a UK audience hearing what is considered our second national anthem.

Green Day makes a habit to play music before they go on stage , that is recorded. When the music for Bohemian Rhapsody came on the crowd sang along with the music ( no words) and this is what happened.

I'm glad you used a higher res video than most reviewers have used - you can see the crowd jumping up and down. The unplanned spontaneity of this makes it special in a way that later efforts never quite duplicated.

I've seen this so many times and it still gives me chills! I would have loved to have been there. Funny story! During Home Free's Euro Tour in 2018 they had Jeffrey East as opening act for all concerts and the last song they played in the airwaves before Jeffrey came on stage was Take Me Home, Country Roads, the original version. It became a thing for the crowd to sing along to it and it was so powerful and so much fun. Kind of like this, but only a couple to a few hundred people. At this point we had no idea that Home Free had already recorded their rendition of it, and I believe even filmed the video. 😁 Thanks for a great reaction!

I go to a lot of anime/gaming conventions and stuff.... well.... you'd think we'd just sing weeb shit right? Wrong. We do, but there's so many classic rock/pop/ etc that crops up in the karaoke/sing along lineups. Usually ended with Bohemian Rhapsody. One day we might find a person that doesn't know the song that well, but as a Brit, even the small kids know this by heart and sing along. I never remember learning the song growing up, you just KNOW the song.

Similarly, the Irish Discworld Convention always has a disco one of the nights. Mostly it plays normal disco music, but they always include the Time Warp at least once. I don't really dance, but I'll dance to that.

@@qwertyTRiG That's amazing, I love the Time Warp! My mom traumatized me as a small child playing Rocky Horror almost daily for ages, but by age 6 you bet I knew that by heart. I should try to get them to play it at cons, if we can have Baby Shark we can have Time Warp
