I must have an incredibly good memory because I remember almost everything from this movie. I remember the fatheaded villain letting out a bizarre scream that sounds eerily like a strangled rooster whenever his brain gets larger. I remember Tim Robbins being in this movie and playing the fatheaded villain's father. I remember the Green Lantern rescuing his girlfriend from a crashing helicopter by imagining up one of those hot wheels race cars and accompanying track. And, I remember the training scenes on O'ah.

Like they said, everything on Oa, was good. The Earth stuff was just dumb and boring.

It's Warner Bros. They don't know what they are doing at all. They hire box office successes instead of people who are right for the job. Marvel is being smart, they got the TV Ensemble guy for The Avengers, the Rocketeer and campy fun director for Captain America, Someone like Shane Black for Iron Man 3. And who does Warner Bros get for Green Lantern? The James Bond guy. Just because he's made action movies. Come on! Then of course they try to rectify it with Hack Snyder for Superman.

I'm shocked they are so positive on this movie I thought it was terrible

As a Green Lantern film, it's horrible. As a film just in itself, it's decent at best. The crew summed it pretty well. The whole thing felt like a TV movie.

This movie isn't bad, but it fails to leave a lasting impact on the audience. I do love the special effects, and Ryan Reynolds & the actor who played Sinestro are great, but it's cheesy and boring during the first two acts, some people overact and the climax of the movie is rushed to shit. My rating: High Rental

Eh, it's a rental. Not a horrible movie, but definitely forgettable. Greg Berlanti and Marc Gugenheim are the epitome of mediocre. Next time, get a real film writer, not a failed television writer. One positive is that the film got me interested in the Green Lantern mythos, which is pretty awesome.
