I wish the whole spill crew got back together on double toasted to review infinity war. That would be my avengers part 4

Yeah, it would have been nice to see that, and how as a group they would have reacted to Justice League

DC watched this movie and said "Let's do the same thing, only take out any fun or common sense, and just do everything completely f***ing wrong!"

Avengers turns 10!!! Director Joss Whedon's most successful flick The highest grossing movie of 2012 making $207.4 million domestically and $1.5 billion worldwide I remember seeing it with my buddy Tom and other buddies opening weekend Nobody thought assembling all these superheroes would work but they pulled it off I love that they have to learn to work together when they all first meet Tom Hiddleston at this point was the best villain before Thanos Terrific ensemble, amazing action, and set up the rest of the MCU that followed The story might seem lazy and Hawkeye and Black Widow still needed their own solo adventures to expand but the camaraderie works with everyone Solely responsible for all the trends in Hollywood and the never-ending popularity of superhero films, the changing costs of production and marketing, the disappearance of mid-budget films in theaters, and even the expectations that blockbusters must make a billion dollars Selling original scripts was a challenge from then on all about making IP things that already had existing fan bases Still this movie changed the rules of writers and analysts by building smaller stories first before making a franchise too quick A big reference point for how to approach material such as this for the masses and casual audiences

So if the punch is one of the moments, and Hulk getting laid out by Mjolnir is another, is the third the Hulk jumping on the fighter jet? The two times I saw this in the theatre I gave this movie a 10/10, but I soured on it when I watched it after the Spurs lost the '13 Finals (not sure if that was correlation or causation). Since then it's been more of an 8.5. I did feel the old way when I watched it baked once, but I honestly think the Avengers movies get better with each installment.

Would've been nice to have an actual plot, but just seeing these characters together doing their thing makes me say this is a full price movie. Not better than sex, but good enough.

If I may borrow a phrase from the Blockbuster Buster, ERod. "The Avengers spank Batman at the box office." The only one of the Batman trilogy I enjoyed was The Dark Knight. The others are garbage. Marvel, however had several good movies. Avengers among them

Why wasn't Edward Norton playing the Hulk in this movie???
@k.delpino11245 жыл бұрын
He only signed on for the solo film and would've been in the avengers. But he was dissappointed with Marvel for making The Incredible Hulk into a shorter, tighter film(less than 2 hours). Edward Norton was uncredited as writer & producer. He wanted every scene with detail(a la Ang Lee's Hulk). Norton didn't promote the movie as much as Marvel wanted. All because of his disappointment in the final product. Mark Ruffalo was at the top of director Whedon's list to fill the role. Norton's play on Banner, learning to be in control. Ruffalo's play on Banner, accepting what he has and using it to be a hero.
