These kids are fantastic. I had a teacher in 6th grade and he asked my late cousin and I to come up with a saying for a flam-tap?, I said "Gotta-shoot-a-paperclip!" Keep going far kids!

not only that, but the drums seem to be all mixed well, there are no mics on the snares bass or anything, it would be impossible for this all to be real.
@missrainbowfulify12 жыл бұрын
Traditional was created for drums who's harness was a sling so the drum was higher on the left side. Traditional is just that...tradition. Matchstick is practical and makes for a more uniform sound.
@rikuantu11 жыл бұрын
If you guys don't notice it yet, but most of this wasn't like filmed all together. The very end with the chinas. It goes to the two girls on bases. You can see the people behind them but when the camera goes to the front, the people behind the base chicks are infront of them.
@AirsoftWorld1012 жыл бұрын
i just like theway traditional looks but it does make sense for them to play match in this situation
@uwewienekamp67585 жыл бұрын
Super cool
@gentrywalker12 жыл бұрын
At 3:07 you can tell that this isn't a recording because all of those instruments in the back which are being played, are not in fact making any sound. It also looks like that one girl in the foreground is playing a bunch of notes that I'm not hearing, or she's ghosting.
@firemane912 жыл бұрын
It's really a matter of preference, match grip makes sense in this particular situation due to the drum not being traditionally tilted to the right. Traditional grip was used in compensation for the tilt. However, many high schools and universities lean toward traditional grip regardless of how the drum is setup. I could go on more about this but that's the main gist of it!

What is bothering me so much is that the snare drums have clear heads. I don't know why it's bothering me so much. Maybe it's that what I'm looking at doesn't match up with what I'm seeing.

I'm always used to seeing snare drummers in drumlines playing traditional grip seems that's changed as well [ THAT'S WHERE ONE STICK RESTS IN THE CROOK BETWEEN YOUR THUMB AND INDEX FINGER } since i'm only an amateur drummer i play on the kit with both types of grips just depends on the moment this is a good post and i'm gald to hear these players Cheers!

@NoNo4evr8 жыл бұрын
They probably just used some video that was a little different from the audio, like they pulled a part from a different time in the video where the basses were playing, if you get what im saying. simple editing mistake I'm guessing.
@bloomartz63187 жыл бұрын
i know this is old but they took a studio recording i think mixed with a live recording. and there was different takes of the video recording which is whyu some scenes dont match up with the next or previous.

im sorry, im not being a jerk, but of course its edited. Hence the multiple camera angles. But it's no fault of the drummers the editor put a clip in the wrong place. It's the editors.
