I don't think you're giving them enough credit. I've seen teens with plenty enough talent to choreograph something like this. These guys are top notch musicians and have clearly put in thousands of hours of practice to get to the level that they are at- an indicator of their expertise. Given the freshness and humor, I'd be surprised if it was *not* their own routine (borrowing from stuff they've learned, of course, but arranged by them).

I wouldn't dare to insult them by calling them "talented". Those young men are skilled and had the discipline to practice their asses off during a time in life when so many other distractions are present. On the other hand, I can finish almost every song on Rock Band with the drums on Medium!

Drums played on Easy is actually more difficult than Medium or Hard - on Rock Band due to the fragmented rhythm cues. It's like singing every 4th word in lyrics.

the sad reality is that this rare combination of amazingly hard working, gifted, talented, extremely highly skilled humorous and entertaining troupes like this are not apreciated financially to keep the line together. Like all sucessful teams, life gets in the way and each member will be pulled in different directions be it love, employment, study, mortgages, extracurricular dreams or desires. just imagine how super incredibly awesome they could be if able to keep the group together . words don't do justice to such high calibre entertainment !!! I remember watching this video years ago when I was in my 20s. I'm 33 now and here I am re watching it again. Just watched that movie Drumline from 2002 and was thinking that's impossible.. And then, flashback!..I remembered this video! You guys not only have talent, but it is noticeable the passion, effort, and lots of work behind that routine..and still, with all that hard work you enjoyed it and shared that spirit.. I can see the drumline from my high school marching band back in the day putting together something like this. Some things just seem to be universal, and crazy awesome high school drummers seems to be one of them.
