@megalamanooblol
@megalamanooblol 6 ай бұрын
@@kalliste23 Smoke dischargers are also a thing on a Soviet vehicles, these are 2 different systems. Smoke grenades allow you a smoke screen in seconds, these days those smoke discharges are automatic and tied to laser warning system or some other passive defense sensors. Engine smoke is something that can give you longer last screen to allow you retreat or obscure movement of the vehicles following the tank with ESS. I imagine by the nature of how ESS is working, that smoke will be quite hot, not sure it is hot enough to completely conceal the vehicle from hi-grade thermal, I imagine will very much depend on ambient conditions.

I spent some time in and around a T-72 here in the UK (the dark green and then tan coloured one at the War & Peace show years back). It will always be my favourite. It's just so stupidly violent, noisy, dirty, and my god the way the fan blasted a 30ft tall tornado of dust behind it. Say what you will, but they have so much personality and so much presence about them. Absolutely excellent. Well done on getting it fixed!
