@@youjustreadthis897they are in a wierd way beautiful, while leopards are designed with extreme cutting edges and optimized statistics to reduce fuel and tear the Russians are designed for easily repairs and more raw approach that reminds me of older cars that somewhat always work and drive with broken cylinders

@@Savagetechie British armour uses smoke dischargers which fire grenades which nowadays have something akin to thermite particles to make the smoke hot to obscure in the infrared. I wonder if the smoke mode on modern Russian tanks puts extra additives into the fuel.

It's used as a visual obscurant on pretty much every modern tank.

@@kalliste23 Smoke dischargers are also a thing on a Soviet vehicles, these are 2 different systems. Smoke grenades allow you a smoke screen in seconds, these days those smoke discharges are automatic and tied to laser warning system or some other passive defense sensors. Engine smoke is something that can give you longer last screen to allow you retreat or obscure movement of the vehicles following the tank with ESS. I imagine by the nature of how ESS is working, that smoke will be quite hot, not sure it is hot enough to completely conceal the vehicle from hi-grade thermal, I imagine will very much depend on ambient conditions.

I spent some time in and around a T-72 here in the UK (the dark green and then tan coloured one at the War & Peace show years back). It will always be my favourite. It's just so stupidly violent, noisy, dirty, and my god the way the fan blasted a 30ft tall tornado of dust behind it. Say what you will, but they have so much personality and so much presence about them. Absolutely excellent. Well done on getting it fixed!

Lol allegedly back in the day as a youngun in the sticks we used to drill and tap the exhaust manifold and run a line through the bulk head, back into the car with an fairy liquid bottle of old oil in the glovebox ,if plod were behind or more often than not ya mates two squirts and you were away,they had to stop coz they couldn't see the road👊those were the old days when people owned up n said "it's a fair cop",because then if you'd been messing about up to no good the buggers chased ya down😂,not like today...lol seeing that smoke brought back some memories😂Cracking videos and a pleasure to watch with English narration and pronunciation,fcuk stop oil,i bet not one of them have a tank!👊

Ha, my mate had a race-prep Suzuki GT380 two-stroke triple which would drop in to smoke mode if you rode it too gently. You had to cane it for about 3 miles to clear its throat (and everyone elses).

T-72 defence mechanism is much like the defence mechanism of the crew when they see a Bear charging at them , basically it soils itself and disappears in a cloud of toxic fumes . Which is the same defence mechanism I would have if I saw a T-72 charging down on me . Great work the T-72 looks and sounds good , thank you for another great video .

This video is extremely fun, but for our 'safety complainers' out there is actually a really good look at you guys' 'safety culture' as you tool around within reason (breathing in generated diesel smoke- healthy? Not really. Will it kill you or harm you if it's just the once? Also no.) But surprise surprise it turns out you do actually know what you're doing and try to avoid the things that might *actually* kill you or completely ruin your day. It's almost like you do this for a living or something

Привет ребята! У нас в России есть поговорка "Танки грязи не боятся". А механиков-водителей и ремонтёров называли "мазута" от слова мазут (масло). Вы правы-здесь нет экологии. А вот экологичные западные танки на Украине мыши жрут. А задача у танка не экология а война. Такова реальность. С уважением.
