Wow, Saturday of the Bank Holiday and you have the entire place to yourself! gosh great memories of your mountain biking days, cant be easy riding on those fells! Miles and miles of bugger all! 🤣🤣 the kentmere horseshoe looked incredible from up the top! Quality is amazing throughout! 👍🥾

Mainly happy days of the Mountain Biking I didn't have much success but my wife was very successful! (We're separated, and have been for almost 25 years). We spent a lot of time over on the edge of the NYM competing! I thought MAMBA would catch peoples imagination! Certainly a quiet spot for a Bank Holiday. I've barely touched on the Outlying Fells, concentrating more on the classic 214 but definitely want to spend more time in them in the future. Only recently I discovered your films but always a pleasure to watch.

Goes to show, even on a Bank Holiday weekend you can always find some peace and tranquillity in the lakes, as long as you keep away from the honeypots. An area of the Lakes that is new to me and I need to do the Kentmere Horseshoe next year. Nice to hear about your mountain bike exploits from previous years. Nice to have the summit all to yourself, even though the track up was not the best and on a wet day, looks like it could be a boggy walk up there, cheers Alan
