Green River Canoe Camp - Feature Length Movie

Started in Green River, Wyoming, Finished in Lake Havasu City, Arizona,, a bit less than 3 months. Paddled your stretch,, Green River, Utah to the Confluence with a friend. He had the good sense to be picked up by Jet Boat at the Confluence, I turned right for Cat, Lake Powell,, etc. I frequently recommend the 120 miles south of Green River, Utah,,, gentle and beautiful.

Loved this. My 79 year old dad and I paddleboarded this August 2021. Spent 6 days too. Loved to re-live this with your video. Fun fun fun!

Are there any Rapids or can you paddleboard at any time

The sections we did there were no rapids. We did from Ruby Ranch to Mineral Bottom and it was all smooth water.

When I was a teenager back in the mid 70's my dad and his friends did a trip using canoes from Tex canoe rentals...its still in business lol We spent 6 days as well. The trip is permanently ingrained in my mind. I remember it all from the mosquitoes to biting flies. Like how you beached the canoes in that creek. We all paddled to cover as a huge black cloud appeared with thunder and lightening. We beach 3 of the canoes in a small beach with towering cliffs to our backs. We all scattered into the schrub and tree area. Heard loud thumps and others started yelling for us The loud thumbs were large rocked being hurled off the top of the cliff which became a warerfall due to the massive rain storm that hit us. That nice beach turned into a swift running mini river swamping our canoe. We lost about 70 percent of our food..lol Pretty wild trip.. I'll never forget it

@@JamesBlackburnExperience Yes it sure was an adventure..except I didn't like the mosquitoes and pesky biting flies lol I'm planning on doing a trip there..miss it

I did not experience mosquitos or biting flies on either of my Green River trips thankfully. Have a fun and safe trip!
