The video of Dan's fishing tour with his clients was magnificent. He, of course, must be one of the most skilled guides anyone could with for on the Green River.

My favorite areas when I was stationed at Ft. Lewis was the upper Green from Kanasket-Palmer Park down to around the big bend. Man, I have caught a lot of steelies up there.

What time of year are steelhead usually up that far? I've ok only caught one up there.
@awaken777 жыл бұрын
Green river gorge is very beautiful . But that area has few access spots because of private property. I love the "hanging gardens" in particular, nice steelhead hole, you need to hike though forest to get to it.
@williamtoch74356 жыл бұрын
is there steelhead in it in the winter?
@awaken778 ай бұрын
@@williamtoch7435 yes, i've seen winter fish in Kanaskat-Palmer State Park

Great video guys! I like the music as well. I'm for sure putting those areas on the list to go and check out. Ive only been to the Puyallup and the Carbon so these areas look really cool to go exploring. Thanks for posting.

Cool video. The upper green is a beautiful place to fish. Too bad the steel head numbers aren't higher though! Oh well, you're sure to catch some solitude at the least.

That depends on species and runs. You'll want to check out the WDFW regulations pamphlet for specifics.

We parked on the road, there are turn outs. The hike was about a 1/2 mile, very pretty and well worth it!

I have lived on or around the Green River for most of my life and what I want to know is, is it good for trout fishing?
@MrSwatsteven6 жыл бұрын
Yea steelhead trout
@olddog66585 жыл бұрын
@@MrSwatsteven Anywhere steelies or salmon run so do searun cutthroat trout. commomly known as egg stealers because of their habit of zooming in on spawning fish and swiping roe. Use a silver or gold spinner, that'll also take steelies/salmon...get out there...
@MrSwatsteven5 жыл бұрын
This year sucks for stealies on the green though

I caught the biggest rainbow trout I've ever seen the first time I went. Think it was on a panther Martin classic spinner.
