Congratulations Game Night. You really have achieved what Nikki mentioned - introducing many more people to the wonderful world of board gaming. And Deborah, I completely understand the star struck moment - I met Lincoln and Nikki in July and once I had plucked up the courage to introduce myself, I was lucky enough to get to play games with them. They were so welcoming, patient and fun. Thanks to Game Night for helping me avoid trawling through rule books and for allowing me to discover whether I will like a game before I spend my hard-earned cash on it.

FIVE. HUNDRED. This is epic. Moving to Texas has been great for a lot of reasons, but missing being on Game Night is definitely one of the worst things. Oh yeah, 500 episodes means we get royalties from syndication now, right?! I like to think that Deborah would have managed to get on this show without my help, given her rampant love and enthusiasm for board games and storytelling, but I am SO GLAD I WAS ABLE TO BE A SMALL PART OF THAT❤! Imo the reason for doing the videos is to highlight the games rather than the individuals playing them. I like that it's restrained and that they are in effect reluctant "stars". Other gaming series notably Tabletop/Geek And Sundry and No Rolls Barred I always get the impression that the players are doing it more for the media exposure than a love of games

I've got plenty of nerdy, board gaming moments but one of the most recent is my home brewed version of Mmm! by Reiner Knizia (your playthrough video helped out IMMENSELY). My version was Adventure Time themed and it was all about rescuing candy people. The board hung on the wall and the pieces stuck to it via velcro. I would love to see Lincoln's home brewed Survive copy... Anyway, great episode guys! Man, the Big 500!! I've been following this channel from its earlier episodes and it makes me so happy to see it continue and grow... how about another 500 ;-) ? Congrats everyone!

1. I have come to absolutely LOVE watching GameNight. My first episode watching was TEN, a game I was very drawn to but needed help understanding how it actually felt to play, and searching for a "Let's Play" came across the channel. You were all so warm and inviting and I was soon hunting through your channel for other games that looked fun. I am definitely late to the party, but so proud of you all for this momentous occasion! 2. Green Team Wins -- I wasn't sure I'd really like this game, because it doesn't seem totally fair -- and simply trying to write "the most popular answer" seemed a little boring. I actually like that you have to try NOT to do that in Just One. However, seeing you play it here, I got it. I would love to give it a try now! And you're right that you almost have to realize that the game is the experience, not really the winning or losing. Same is true of the game Wavelength, I've found. 3. I LOVED seeing Deborah on GameNight after she joined the Dice Throne Missions play-through recently, and here she is again tonight... and I just have to say, she shines so vibrantly and her love of games and of "fun" is so contagious and reminds me so much of why we're all so in love with this hobby. What a special person, and I'm so happy to see her here!

The thing that makes GameNight stand out for me is that it's just a bunch of friends playing games together; no hammy bits to camera, no manufactured tension, no grandstanding. The show is a relatively recent discovery for me having gotten back into proper board games only this year, but it's clear you only play games you're interested in, and only with a group you're interested in playing them with. We buy collective family presents every year for us all to enjoy, and thanks to GameNight there'll be a bunch of board games rather than Harry Potter Lego sets under the Christmas tree this year. Congrats on 500!
