I love the videos but after the end cut scene of the final tank I would love to hear from the maintenance team about the care of the tank and its inhabitants, any issue they faced and what they had to do to keep the tank looking its best. This kind of addition I think would really benefit the community to see not only how to set up each tank but the different level of care each one requires.
@GreenAquaShop7 ай бұрын
Thanks for the suggestion. We will have more maintenance videos on the channel; however, we already have dozens. We do not have special care for each tank. We use general methods to go through them weekly and set similar conditions to make the maintenance task more manageable. This tank is not different from this perspective. The universal goal is the same. Make the plants happy and minimize stress. With this, you will need to do minimal maintenance on your aquariums.

Love to hear we've been inspirational in some ways 💚 If you feel tired of maintenance, it may mean you need a slight change to bring some excitement again. Maybe update the layout a bit, introduce new species, or take photographs from the aquarium. Both can give some boost to your motivation.
@priyankardas26687 ай бұрын

Amazing! Colors contrast is impactful, green, black and white/red... BTW, Do you limit the filter outflow? I´ve same filter in a 30l tank and have a lot of surface movement (even with a Spin pipe). Thx!
@ragemodeactivated84817 ай бұрын
can you make a video on how you use external filters in small nano tanks like this, because i find them to be so strong in a small cube it will just blow the shrimp/ fish around too much
@GreenAquaShop7 ай бұрын
You can use inlets like Spin glass, or reduce the filter flow on the filter or with a simple tap. It is not a big deal :)

I love Dennerle Scapers Tanks. I have a 70L, 55L and a 30L Cube on standby for future projects. I am working on an older Juwel Rio125 at the moment. 😅 I definately prefer black backgrounds. It makes the fish and plants stand out better. Question: do you put some restriction on the filter, or do you let it blast in full force? 500 litres/hour on a 20 litre tank (which is filled halfway with hardscape and soil) seems wild to me. Not judging, just genuinely curious. 😉
@GreenAquaShop7 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! Good luck with your Juwel layout. To answer your question: we found that you'll need to restrict the flow for the first 1 or 2 weeks, then you can fully open the tap and the flow will be just fine for this tank size. We asked the head of Eheim Engineering, and he says there is no problem with restricting the flow with a tap for longer times, or even permanently, but you should do it on the pressure side. Cheers.

How do you maintain the correct water parameters for both shrimp and plants? Do you use RO remineralised and fertilisers? Interested to see if the shrimp actually breed
@GreenAquaShop7 ай бұрын
They breed for sure, but you'll need to protect the filter inflow with a shrimp guard in order to spare as many as you can.
