Nicely done.I stayed near Greenbelt 1 and ate at the Chili's more than once. I was there in April 2019. The mall was about 500 steps from my rental.

This is what the mainstream media doesn't show. They always portray Philippines as a poor country but in fact we have so many places all over the Philippines that are developed already just like this place you showcase Makati. I really enjoy watching your videos and hopefully you visit other provinces also like Pampanga, Tarlac and Nueva Ecija. Stay safe Joe and enjoy my beloved country! More power to you and your channel.

Jeepney is probably the most economic and ICONIC way to circle around Metro Manila and it includes a wide variety of events/entertainment that would optionally requires you to give tips and these are drummer at the back of the jeep, singers, people who randomly gives you a small envelope, religious activity and the most aggressive of them all the holdduppers especially for expats like you, DONT fight them! unless you don't want to see the next sun rise.

I am an American that lives here in Makati. This video is very representative of what Makati is like - as far as the NICE parts. It conveniently, however, doesn't show some really bad areas here in Makati. But overall, this is a good area and Greenbelt is one of the nicest areas here in Makati. And, yes, Makati is expensive but worth it if you like entertainment and to get away from some of the really dirty disgusting areas of Manila.

Dear Sir, what exactly do you like about malls? I am used to small personal-owned shops who exist since ages with a very particular choice in goods and foods. Malls do riun that concept and do replace it by very artificial mentality to my opinion - that is why in my country the mall system as the fast food system did fail. Also these fast food stores: did you ever enjoy real self made food from Europe? Try it and you will understand what I talk about. Why these Philippines adopt what is the worst about american culture instaed the nicest things ? I do not get that need to replace traditions by artificial things. I really do not want to offend anybody but allready it does start with the language: why dont engihs speaking expats learn tagalog ? I saw pretty kind people in the Philippines who same time struggle to keep their culture after having been colonized for so long time... english is not the language there. I did not find any really good english speakers but many who did try to give the impression the are. That did sound weird to me. Why copy the US if they do have its own culture? Dispite my critical questions I truely wish you a very pleasant time in the Phils. You seem to be a kind person.

Hoping that your not victimize by a taxi driver who collect to much fare, sometimes they will contract you to pay the fare they would ask on because their reason is so much traffic even do your deatination is near from your place. Thats how taxi driver in the philippines collect the fare to their passenger most of them are greedy that why it's hard to trust them.
