LOVE Oaxaca!!! This will be our 5th year of spending the Winter there. We stay in Jalatlaco and adore it! Oaxaca is our favorite place in all of Mexico and we have traveled pretty extensively. This year we will be there for Día de Muertos and really look forward to it. Thanks SO much for sharing these wonderful videos. I am so familiar with many of the places you shared. Makes me hungry to return…

Hi Jim, Thanks for the great content you put out! It is very much appreciated! I am searching for a town/city that has a moderate cool climate and or a beach town where the cost of living and real estate are still affordable. Other than the obvious expat destinations, do you have any suggestions?

I’m coming to Oaxaca next month, so thank you for this video. Very helpful. Do you have any suggestions as to finding volunteer work? That would make a good video.

Kind of an odd question, but I'm hoping you can help me out. Seems like a lot of Oaxaca living spaces are open air, which appeals to me. I'm very sensitive to mold and poor air quality. Do you think this would be a good place to consider traveling? Thanks!

Beautiful neighbourhoods !! Are there lots of foreigners (Non-Mexicans) in these areas ? It would be good to know whether new arrivals from USA/Canada/Europe can expect a good community of support for those first few months or years.
@celinachavez4922 Жыл бұрын
I was 3 weeks ago, and I saw a lot of foreigners.. everybody is super comfortable speaking in simple Spanish. There are a lot of French people also.. if you stayed close to the center (central zocalo), you would be good.

You expect non-Mexicans in Mexico?
@encampsaround8 ай бұрын
@thetacokawaii - as a world traveler I expect foreigners in every country. And I expect equal mixing even if they have affiliate communities. Not sure what your question is implying.
