Love the editing on this one. The mix of pov followed by the other camera angle while keeping the audio from the GoPro is really great. Nailed the perfect balance of edit/raw on this one!

"What is this thing?" Such a righteous sea-faring itinerary -- hittin up the spots! Thanks for taking us along. Great stuff as always. Still waiting for the ice to go out up here in the Arctic but should get blown out soon. Come up to Barrow for the fall storm barrels and paddle out with the polar bears. Yeeeeew!

That was awesome man! I have a river wave at my house in Columbus, Georgia. If you ever want to visit I’d be happy to let you stay at my place and show you around. Jamie O’Brien stayed at my place for a few days a couple years ago. It’s a cool spot. Great video as always. Looked liked a special day 👊🏼

Still the best surfing content on KZbin. Glad to see the hard work and solid content in paying off. You are going to hit 1 million, the only question is how long will it take. I’m guessing one of these days you are going to get some content so incredible that it goes viral and you add 100k or more in a few days. The right wave, caught inside somewhere huge, something.

This video puts me right in the water, back in Indo like no other I've watched. I can feel the ocean like about to take off on a wave and get barreled. Not sure what it is about it. It's not the shakiness, something else. "What is this thing" wave end section was square and shallow AF, risked a brutal faceplant on the reef.

As always your content is absolutely magnificent, Nate ! Best free surfing stuff out there (along with Mason)... I don't know squat about Greenbush, but that wave looked a bit sketchier / heavier / thicker than a lot of the other Indo waves that get a lot of attention... Am I right ?

I hope they didn't paddle out all at once. One thing I learned on boats in the Ments is not to paddle out right away when you arrive with your boat and not all at once. The others in the water will last only so long. When they start to filter out, you start to filter in. It's the best way to make friends and share the lineup with stoke.

I would 💩 myself especially after seeing how long the one guy was held under. He is lucky he didn’t bounce off the reef. Hopefully he had a good breath before going down. It sucks when you go through that but you inhale some water while you’re about to get nailed. Have had bad experience with that in waves that are not nearly this powerful and thought that was the end.

@@NathanFlorence well generally you want to go a few hours before low tide but it’s different every beach and every day, as far as places in the world, the megalodon ledge or “Meg” ledge off the North Carolina coast is work renowned but you have to dive 100 ft! Indo Megalodons are a thing but I’ve never been to look! I think they dig them up. I just walk the beach when I can’t find waves!!
