Brilliant idea. Just don't forget you're wearing it in civvy street. I've been caught out several times "forgetting" I've left kit in my backpack

Awesome i never thought about a survival belt before :-),,, 👍,, remember guys you can also use the Velcro on your backpacks, I've put a small Stanley blade hidden between my Velcro and Velcro patch 👍, it's stuck well and has been there for over a year just in case, great videos man, can't wait to see your next 1 😁

Excellent! Just remember folks, to replace your belt after removing the saw otherwise your trousers could fall down while sawing wood.

Not if you've got wood they won't, because you'll have a hook to hang you're waistband on if you catch my drift!! HNY Neil, Looking forward to part Two.

Perfect timing Neil, spent all yesterday using my foldable bucksaw I made in the field a few years back sawing through my seasoned harvested timber ready for the woodburner at home! Was considering other methods when I carry it for trips in the woods and this would be ideal, might even just strap it around the Lk35.. Love the multipurpose possibilities with the use of the belt aside from the blade holder too! Great work as always 👌🏼

Nice one Neil, Happy New Year to you. This belt reminds me of the ones i used to make years back, i did two types, one was a double thickness leather belt, with the resulting sleeve between the two layers of leather for securing the saw blade in, that was a labour of love saddle stitching that up i can tell you, the other was basically a long leather sleeve with leather loops that went over your belt that then secured with poppers, meaning you didn't have to take your belt off to access the sleeve as the "sheath" just unpopped and then you could take it off, although putting it back on was not as simple. I have pictures of them both, but unfortunately they are on Photobucket and i can no longer access them, might have a really old video of them somewhere though, if i can find it i'll put a screen grab on my instagram so you can see what i mean.

Thanks Mark, that would be great. I know velcro and nylon webbing are not everyone's cup of tea, so something in leather would be superb
