All three to do and hopefully (weather permitting), at the end of the month, as we are stopping at the Keswick Reach Lodge retreat for 4 nights, so only 2 hours round drive from there, rather than 7 hours from home. They look canny as well, fingers crossed for the same weather you got, cheers Alan

aye this is a bit shorter walk than grike to lank rigg so you can really take your time.. the view from middle fell over to the scafells is one of my favourites ive seen.. the only depressing part is looking up at seatallan once your down from middle fell, its vertical, but a good path :/

Another great hike Dave. We did this one last year and I have a memory of the ascent to Seatallan being incredibly steep. From Buckbarrow we went left to the Joss Naylor cairn so descended differently. The views of Wasdale and Wastwater are superb up there. Regards, Ashley

ahh yes that reminded me I seen that descent path on the way up to middle fell, it looked much more pleasant than the one I used to come down, I just forgot about it when I got there.. Yea the Seatallan was a high gradient I just put my eyes on the floor and never looked up haha. Cheers lad

Thanks again mate, love the videos. Views from Middle Fell are amazing. Its a bit of a slog up to Seatallan mind, Ha. Regards and take it easy (ish).JC

I generally hit those roads around 09:30 and much quieter. The Sellafield traffic early is brutal.

Aye that's a good idea I never thought of that cheers

Great video with very good views. I am hoping to do this round in June. I live in Annan and it takes a bit to get there depending on traffic!

aye its a grand little round... steep straight up to begin but can enjoy the rest.. i shud have went up to the tarn close, nice quiet fells. :)

Hi Dave, absolutely brilliant mate. Not done those yet myself. Will do them next year. For me its a good two and a half hours to Wasdale so it needs to be a decent length walk to make it worth the drive. You had some cracking views though mate. Thanks for sharing with us as always mate All the best Dave

cheers lad.. aye might be worth adding on illgill head and whin rigg when you come to do this, i was considering it myself but thought id treat myself to a shorter walk for a change.. :)

Another great walk Dave and great tunes! I use your walks as a guide for ours (doing this in August). One question… how was parking? Guess if a lay-by could get busy?
@daveostlemountainman6 ай бұрын
i parked next to the farm at the foot of the walk, can get about 6 cars on there but if thats full you will have to go further towards the lake.. i doubt this parking will be full as they are probably the least glamorous reason to visit this area but a lovely easy walk with no issues. Thank you for the support, take care lad :)
