I was glad to see those DT&I locomotives. My one grandpa worked on that line up to the '50s. Cool to see all those long ago lines coming in and out of the Dayton yards. Those are days long gone.

Great clips from my old hometown! The mainline through downtown including Union Station was at ground level in the 1800's. It caused so much havoc crossing all the streets they built the elevated grade you see here with bridges over all the major N-S streets. I grew up in the eastern burbs in the 1960s & 70s. Both the PC and B&O ran right through my neighborhood.
